Salt is a good thing
Honoured and truth-seeking dear reader.
Salt is a good thing, says Christ, the mouth of eternal truth. It is the noblest and most glorious essence, the highest and greatest favour of God in the whole realm of nature, a matter and subject that has no equal, that is a circle and a mystery that no one has yet learned and will never learn.
Of whom Moses, the great prophet and lawgiver, commanded his people Israel and said: all his sacred acts to salt the offerings and grain offerings with salt for a sweet savour unto the Lord.
These words have led us to believe and to investigate that salt is not only for flavouring our food and making it tasty, but that there must be a far greater secret hidden in it than is generally known about when it is used to make food.
sweet odour should be pleasing to the Lord, all the more because it has been a chief principle and object of the high Creator in the beginning of his works to make all things substantial, and to call them forth out of nothingness or invisibility, as well as why the same was in ancient times held in such high esteem and credit by the world, the same with the most profound and most sacredly informed their children or the Disciples of what a sanctuary it was, and of its usefulness: how and why it was served up in their temples, synagogues and assemblies in golden vessels, with the deepest honour and reverence.
honoured as if the divine majesty itself were essentially present.
As well as why they potentates kings princes and republics at peace negotiations they put the salt and fire in two vessels in their midst.
But such edifying and highly useful acts, which remind man of his constant reverence for the divine majesty, have been dismissed and set aside as ancient statues and ceremonies in more recent times, because they lacked the light of knowledge and had no concept of them, presumably also for political, wilful and selfish reasons, because they could not stand together with the old benevolence and benevolence.
But alas! Thus the traces and paths have been fenced off and hewn down for posterity, that one has his access before him to gain some knowledge of it, not to mention to note its holiness, that thus through this setting aside such has come into disregard and its has fallen into oblivion, so that all that remains is for children to learn from their mothers to season soups and dishes and make them savoury, and for cattle and pigs to add salt to their food to make us fat, which is part of domestic science In other words, the entire philosophical, physical and mathematical science of today's world consists solely of salt, and has and possesses nothing else about salt in general or in particular.
But since it is by the special providence and guidance of God, for which we are bound to give him all the thanks of our lives and to glorify his wisdom, that he has brought us to the investigation of this so marvellous subject. But though we are thereby plunged into a sea that is without foundation, since all reason and science are lacking, since we have nothing before us but old dark towers of land hidden behind thick curtains were hidden, and thus had to abandon themselves to the raging waves of the sea, until God himself led our weak ship to the shore.
For truly, the honoured reader believes that the secret of the salt is very difficult to invent, and like a path in the sandy soil, since one cannot guess whether the travellers were going forwards or backwards. Therefore, in honour of God, for the good of this worthy subject, and also for the benefit of posterity, we have found it our duty to devise an experiment to possibly free salt to some extent from its contemptible ignorance and as if from a dungeon of darkness, and to place it on the candlestick like a light hidden under a bushel, so that one may benefit from its usefulness and high qualities.
At the same time, its outward and inward form and shape, together with its power, are of such great importance that they make us ashamed that we do not want to savour soups or dishes, they are then seasoned with salt; and nevertheless do not know what kind of subject it is, whether it is bearable or harmful to our health, according to what a great good and favour of God it is; what a sanctuary and glorious tabernacle it is, what noble jewels the Lord God has placed in it and handed over as a treasury of nature for the prosperity of mankind We say precious jewels and sanctuaries that is as medicinal juices, essences, balms and tinctures, for the health and comfort of the sick, especially those who are abandoned (?) by the doctors.
To be used externally and internally. For in it there is a hyacinth (?) and pearl white juice, sweeter than honey and sugar, sweeter in odour than all spices from India, there is a balm of life, furthermore there is an essence and tincture of rose and crimson, clear as the dawn, a heavenly nectar and cordial of life, to which all metallic and mineral juices can be compared with it in its equality.
come. Not to mention the other principles.
Who cannot and who should not be astonished, ashamed and silent at the great wisdom of God and his infinite goodness towards the human race, but also at our stupid understanding and conception in research and investigation of things in nature to promote the honour of God, to respect and glorify him greatly and to give him all thanks for this in time and eternity.
Therefore, dear reader, whoever you may be, consider that salt is such a matter that the Lord God has adorned with such high virtues, but we, as creatures made by God for his honour and praise, praise him above his works of wisdom; so tell us, how can we praise him above his works, since we do not know and do not understand what his work has in it?For if we would praise him, and proclaim and magnify his wisdom, we must, if we would not deceive God know wherein his works are great, and therefore examine them, and prove by experience that they are great, glorious, majestic, and of unlimited powerTherefore, by the present attempt we proclaim and extol to you the divine wisdom and his goodness towards man, and especially in the salt: thus, in honour of God, we call upon you to examine this so invaluable subject further, always keeping in mind the words of the prophet: I will give you the treasures that lie in darkness, and what lies in hidden places, with this sensual desire that God may open your eyes and heart so that you may see the depths of this sea, and also be able to edify others, so that God may be recognised, honoured and praised in this part as in former times, which we commend to you and wish with all our hearts.

Psalm 34 and 104
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
Salt is an essential substance and subject about which much is known, both by name and by nature of the substance, which is used daily by all people to flavour their food, and of which many millions of dollars are spent annually; of which King David sings that the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord, and Moses remembers that he would rather suffer adversity with the people of God than enjoy the earthly treasures and riches of Egypt. Of which the present world is very strange and ignorant, and yet enjoys without considering whether it is tolerable or harmful to their health.
Salt, although it is manifold, is fundamentally of only two kinds, natural salt and common salt, both of which have their origin in the heavenly salt, which is generated in the astra, brought down by the elements into the earthly circles, born from the earth and made substantial, and then the common salt is generated from it like all other bodies of the natural kingdom and brought to fruition.
which is conceived in the astra, is a spiritual invisible and impalpable being, a spiritual being to be, which in the upper expanse melted into thinness, floated, inclined towards the middle region and all there driven together by the stormy winds into a somewhat thick being and sinks in a greater weight towards the earth, in order to coagulate there as in its centro or womb or to coagulate as a seed in the matricula But this heavenly spirit can be captured and made corporeal in three ways:
a) In the sunshine by means of a large mirror in the form of a white salt.
b) At night by
means of a metallic vessel as a water, and
c) by means of a well-calsinated saline earth, which
frequently draws this water to itself at night.
The salt of nature is first of all the witness-father and the witness-mother of the two primordial beings of the so-called Mercurial moisture and Sulphuric fatness of the mineral kingdom as they are with the salt the three primordial beings or principles of all things of the kingdom of nature and form and constitute all of the same essentiality, which, however, are not the essentiality itself but only the concept, that is the grimness and growing power of it, as which can be worshipped by fire, or the Mercurial moisture can be driven away or dissolved in a vapour and steam and the Sulphuric fatness burnt, but the salt remains as a dry fixed body on the test. The essentiality of every thing is the innate help and necessary co-helper of its essential being and existence.
Although we give the salt a reason of its origin that it is in the Astra is reserved to the high Creator his honour, who is the beginning and origin of all things, that according to the legend of the ancients, in the beginning of his works of the great world building, he saw the salt as a subject or chaos and determined the four units, that is warm, cold, dry and moist, to bring forth the same and to make it essential of the same property and forces to act therein, which effect was once again transferred to the Astra with the retention of the four units.
from the celestial and the terrestrial, where still a third causes its own, as its components prove: which give it its essence, the first as the celestial works a spiritual, invisible and incomprehensible, being which is called a spirit, the working power the mercurial spirit of fire and celestial salt. The second is the earthly, as there is nothing earthly about it, but only that the heavenly spirit as the astral seed has coagulated in the earth as a seed in its field or womb, has thickened and become standing, has taken on a form or body and has become a stone-like consistency The third is the ether, or the working element as the great Hermes said: the wind carried him in his belly;that is, he has carried his windy powers, the Sulphuric fire spirit, the fiery, spiritual being, which is a sour, a being of light, a being of power, a soul and life, innate, implanted and imprinted in the heavenly Salnite, but astral seed, and then supplied to the earth, as the mother, nourisher, suckling and nurturer, who must convey and nurture it to its essential being, namely to the salt of nature; or as King Salome said: Your imperishable spirit, O God! is in all things.
Pythagoras, Anaxagoras, Plato and many others said that salt is the closest thing to God and that God burns in it as a fire.
We have said above how salt had its origin from its two extremes and that a third one contributed to it: also how salt is the witness father and witness mother of the medieval of the with mineral mercury and sulphuris, and how these three essential principles produce all the bodies of the natural kingdom and are of the same constituents;now we must further decide how the salt was worked by the four natural units, and how it itself consisted of three principles, namely the dry one worked in the beginning into the cold one, then an essential substance emerged which was quite dry and arid, then the moist one worked in it, which made the substance liquid, Thereupon the warm one came forth and did its work, then the matter attained a fusible form, whereupon the warm one received the supreme power and with its effect coagulated the mercurial liquid and sulphuric fats with the earthly dry one, so that the dry one completely devoured them and made them into a single being in itself.
As then always happens in the continuation and can be seen if one pays attention to it.
This salt was thus in the beginning the essential body of chaos, then after this body, the salt, was present, the moist one acted further in it and dissolved the corpus into a thick water, hence it was called chaos, on which, according to the Book of Creation, the spirit of God or the spirit of God hovered and through the first separation the light had risen, that is, risen to the height of the upper expansion, in the second the water had separated itself above the best from the water or below the best.
And in the third separation, the water under the best was separated from the earth so that the dry was seen. From these two principles, which have the third in them, the high Creator has brought forth all his creatures.
Although the three essential parts or bodies have now been torn apart and separated from each other Nevertheless, each one retains its characteristic in itself, especially the love and inclination in the bond of their blood and love, since in the beginning they were only one and must become one again, therefore each one of them has a magnetic attracting power and desire to unite with its like components, that is, blood relatives, but to separate and separate from the accidentalAs can be clearly seen here in the salt, when the Astra pour out their juices and are received by the elements, they bring them down into the earthly region of the earth's surface or more, which causes their own powers and juices to be given to the earth and reach a substantial form, then the Astra emanation is a heavenly being, a Mercurial fire of the elements emanation is a Etter, an airy being, a sulhpuric fire and the earthly juices or spawn is an earthly cold fire: these three make the salt.
However, all these three entities are infected in their spawn with foreign juices, some of which are necessary aids to their essentiality or which nevertheless have not reached their timing and perfection, they are called excrement and are completely excluded and separated from it, for example, man lives from food and drink, he is nourished and sustained by it he grows from it, he becomes fat and strong from it, yet they do not make the man, and the excrements are the necessary parts for the production of salt and yet they are not the salt.
And just as it is said that in salt there is a body, a soul and a spirit, so it is not to be understood, as Count Bernhard says, that there are consequently parts, as in man, but that it only comes into comparison to make the essential nature of the same more comprehensible, especially since salt is the body of the three principles in external nature, of which we want to deal in this present little work.
That an earthly body is that which gives all things their essence, their becoming and being, has its origin, as shown, from various centres, which, together with two other principles as mercury and sulphur, forms the essential shape and form of every thing, because salt is a dry body, and together with mercury and sulphur, that is soul and spirit, is very well related and makes a common being. Salt is therefore only a single thing in which its soul and spirit, i.e. mercurial moisture and sulphuric fatness, have united with it and become one, so that it is very fire-resistant, indestructible and indestructible, because its components and primordial essence have been made one and the same, a primordial being has to be all other things, so that its components can now and never again be separated.
The soul as the sulphur is a thing of very wide extent and conception, extending over all the bodies of the kingdom of nature, because the same in the mineral kingdom is the sulphur, the greenness and growing power; in the vegetable kingdom it is the most oily and resinous sap; and in the animal kingdom the blood; thus in all bodies there is only one and all kinds, namely the active force which is called life and the fatness is the lard and blood of nature, as life is rain and movement, which through its fluid weaves through the bodies, as the blood of man flows through the veins. It is also the bond by which the spirit and the body are bound together and preserved in essence; it is the house and dwelling place of the spirit; it is the receptacle and receptacle of the spirit; it is the spirit's chariot on which it is carried in the body even to the outermost and smallest parts; it is the noblest queen's most distinguished lady-in-waiting, through whom she is cared for and accompanied in her permanent palace and residence.
Hence Moses wrote so highly of her in his laws that blood is the soul of all living creatures: that one should not eat the flesh with his blood, that is with his soul; then God willdemandour blood as the soul from the hand of all animals, even from the hand of man himself; from the hand of every man his brother, so that whoever sheds the blood of man shall be shed again by man.
So the blood or soul is a dissolved corpus, a sap melted into thinness, a corpus made alive by the Spirit. But just as the soul is the dwelling place or body of the spirit, so salt is the dwelling place or body of souls.
But it is not in all things of one nature, as we have already said above, but it differs in the minerals in two forms, white and red, as Balius Valentinus testifies when he says of vitriol that it has two spirits, the white sulphur on white and the red is the red sulphur on red. this sulphur is very bitter, sour, astringent, astringent, fiery, inflammable and glows with great power.
In plants it is likewise white and red in the form of an oil, of great power; and in animals it is only red, because, according to scripture, it is the blood and the soul of the same.
The spirit, that is Mercurius, one of the three principles in nature and a component of all bodies, is likewise of very broad mind and scope, which is to be found and predominates in all three realms, and although, according to a but concept, it is in all things is the same, it differs according to its physical nature.
The same is, according to its origin, a Syrian being, bored out of the general great world spirit, being a spirit of life, which awakens all things into life, because it is a fiery volatile spirit and child of the heavenly Saniter, which is full of fire and life, which is a fiery juice and astral seed of all things, a tinging spirit, a spirit present everywhere, an invisible spirit and being, which is the life and growth of all things, it is a spirit which lies in the pores of water.
Like the soul in the pores of the blood, in which it manifests itself through its power and existence, as it then has no other body or element, the water, in which it can hold itself and reign, but can also communicate to no other thing than through the water. It is a spirit, not pure in mineral bodies alone, but united with arsenical spirits, that is, untimely, unripe and very bitter vapours: hence it is expelled from them as a vapour and steam, hence fiery, corrosive, pungent and all-destroying. In plants it is likewise a white vapour and vapour, but not so wild and monstrous as in minerals, especially in wine, and everything that comes from the vine, it is quite mild and of immense strength, aromatic and balsamic, then its fleeting Salt or salamoniac makes it bearable for man, hence it is used as a menstruum.
In the animal kingdom, especially in man, we have this spirit in a threefold object. Firstly, it is a component of the body, a watery moisture, vapour and steam, an unpleasant odour. Secondly, it is a spirit as the reason and concept of all studies, arts and sciences. Thirdly, the spirit blown into all men by God, that is a being of the great being, which is immortal, immortal and unceasing; which, at the death of a man, returns to the place from whence it came. Enough has been said here about the production of salt and the reasons necessary for it.
1) Sal volatile
2) Sal acidum
3) Sal Alcali
Although we have said that salt is basically divided into only two kinds, namely natural salt and common salt, we must also say that natural salt is nevertheless divided into three different kinds and three essential substances:
a) volatile salt, which is salarmoniac or volatile salt,
b) acid salt, which is acid salt,
c) into a Sal Alcali or fixed salt.
The sal volatile is in a very fiery type physically solid hard and heavy bright clear translucent and shiny, which in its element is deliquescent and expanded in thinness.
The sal acidum is partly volatile and partly fixed, therefore it has been extracted with greater force, is no less hard heavy light and clear than the sal volatileand is nevertheless expanded in its element and dissolved in thinness.
The sal Alcali, the savoury salt, the sal fixum, which is in the earth and in the ashes, which can be raised from all bodies, has at its centre the true savoury salt, the humidum radical, the quintessence of nature, the secret central fire, the secret fire of light, the all-becoming being, the secret salt of nature, the salt of wisdom, the salt of the everlasting covenant, the unceasing salt, hidden and concealed, and cannot be raised, for by the hand of the Lord God Himself revealed to men, which hand is not so difficult if it were not kept secret for the honour and righteousness of God.
This secrecy and the teaching which are given to posterity and which all take place only under concealed speeches make the seekers embarrassed and, imparting their ignorance and dull natural light, they fall into many a folly, since they are never able to help themselves out.
However, let no one believe that this science is such a minor art as many imagine and conceptualise it to be, and as those who know how to destroy metals and minerals prepare all kinds of pungent waters and liqueurs to destroy the hard bodies in order to preserve their strength, which is, however, quite in keeping with the course of nature.
Then to prepare a medicine and remedy against cardiac weaknesses, fainting and gout does not require an essence or tincture, a heart and life strengthening drink prepared with pungent, corrosive and acrid, yet poisonous and deadly waters or liqueurs, but with aromatic balsamic juices, if one does not want death to half-press the heart of the sick person.
Hence nature and art require to prepare such a high medicine a liquor and juice, a menstruum or spirituous water, which is not only able to extract from the gold its colour and force, but to unite and combine with it most intimately, so that by the gold it is dissolved, made airy and volatile, but also again the liquor menstruum is overcome and fixed by the gold, that they may be but one, as it has been said of the salt, that its Mercurius unites with it and one devours the other.
Which matter to prepare this liqueur water is neither advisable nor precious, but is to be found natural in all places and in all things of the whole world, thus also the said matter of the liqueur water to extract the humidum radical, the spicy moisture of the sal naturae, or better the salt of the metals This liqueur water, because it is a dry water that does not make the hand wet, has an infinite number of names that all refer to its use, but in particular it is called mercury and mercurius vivus, because mercury can be made from all kinds of earth and clay, and it is also called virgin's milk, bird's milk, permanent and life-giving water, because with it all bodies, as Isaac Hollandus and Raymond. Lullius teach, can be dissolved in an oil and passed over the light.
Furthermore, this water is called by Paracelsus, Bernhardo, Lullio, Azoot, an animated spirit, because it is said to be made from a dissolved thing to be dissolved. But which Hollandus teaches to prepare from minerals and vegetable matter in order to extract all sulphura imbrionata pro medicina.
These said three types are the created essential lights in the outer nature.
The sal volatile is the light or primordial nature in the upper region, which is called the stillness, the sal acidum is the light in the active circles, and the sal alkali is the light in the thickness in the earth and an essential thing that has its origin from the elements.
Whether, then, as has been said, the salt of nature is a single thing that is found in all things in all bodies of the kingdom of nature, hence it is distinguished by the many species of the body, since it has passed from its unity into multiplicity, it has not, however, passed from its salt-like quality, but has remained what it was. For its diversities, since it has specified itself, are only accidents, which neither give nor take anything away from it as can be seen, for example, when a plant grows it takes its strength from the salt of the earth and the same again spoils and rots it goes back into the earth to its origin, the salt from which it came, so that is all the time the natural salt that follows.
The cooking or kitchen salt which is called a mineral or mountain fruit is of three kinds, as:
1.) the rock salt that is buried from the earth,
2.) the spring salt that comes from the spring water and is boiled and
3.) the sea salt that can be prepared in the pools by the sun's rays and great traffic with it happens to the American islands.
This cooking or kitchen salt also consists of three types, namely a sale volatile, which is a spirit salt that is a dissolved salt. Secondly, a sale acido, which is sour salt, and thirdly, a sal alcali, which can be extracted from its back body.
Our initial intention was to experiment with kitchen or cooking salt in order to find out what salt is and why we season our food with salt, whether it is absolutely necessary or merely an acquired habit, i.e. whether it is beneficial or harmful to our health. However, this attempt of ours has caused us to go further and to think and investigate more deeply in order to get to the bottom of the matter and to try to find out what salt is, because it is the mother of all salts, the foundation of the entire natural kingdom and of all bodies as they are produced and emerge from the same juices and forces and are also its components As then all salts they have names as they will be produced from this salt and come from Saturnus that is the natural salt as the witness father of all things said that he consumes and eats up all his children whom he has begotten. This natural salt also forms our food and nourishment, from which we live and are sustained. For all the bodies we eat are made of salt, and we flavour them with salt, and the breath we draw in is full of salt; so it follows that man is made of salt, with salt and through salt.
Hence we have constructed our treatise on both common salt and natural salt at the same time, and to be the clearer, and yet because of the importance that can be done with it may not be understood by the unworthy.
As we have hitherto considered the origin and nature of salt, we shall here deal with its nature and external form, that it is a matter and subject of the highest attention, that we are not able with all our senses to perceive sufficiently when the same is presented in its outward forms and shape, as A . Its clarity, which cannot be compared to that in the world, as it is A bright B clear C subtle D pure E translucent and F brilliant; B. its beauty, as it is G beautiful H lovely and I pleasing; C. Since it is a light and clarity created by God, a shining splendour to reveal the marvellous works of God, not only to see them outwardly through the light of day but also to grasp and hold them, then also that the salt through its own light and clarity in its interior discovers and reveals itself to us according to its qualities and virtues.
Salt is the quintessence of the earth, the power of the earth, the active force of the earth, the soul and the life of the earth. It is the soul and life of the elements, the good thing of which Christ said: it is the goodness of the Lord to all things; as the soul of David sang: it is the incorruptible spirit of God in all things.
David sang: it is the incorruptible spirit of God in all things. It is the Spirit of God that hovers over the waters. It is the speaking word of the high Creator that has disguised itself in becoming being. It is the thing of which Moses commanded Israel, to salt all his sacrifices with salt, for a sweet savour unto the Lord.
Salt is a matter and subject, which is essential, tangible, visible, materialistic, dry, earthly, hard, heavy, white, crystalline, vitreous, diamandic, diaphanous, flaky, soft, clear, square, eight and twelve angular, woven together and driven together by nature, woven together, moulded in circles and angles, with capitals and pediments, friezes, mouldings, knobs and other moulded pieces, the mother of all Corinthian, Ionic and Mosaic work, which surpasses all art and mastery.
Not to mention the figures that are presented on the flat parts, which have been figured and engraved by nature itself through its gravers and styluses, with which the high Creator has wanted to reveal his great wisdom to us through nature, and through the beauty of the salt and all the same figures, figures and signatures, which are of a golden character and litre, convey, as recorded and read in documents and archival writings, the sacred blessings and great treasures that the Lord God, the high Creator, has bestowed on man for the good of his noblest creature as a being of power in the same.
There are still voices, speaking tongues and pointing fingers to teach us what qualities of virtue and power are laid and preserved in it; there are golden places and headbands; there are high signals, indeed the order with which the Lord God has crowned salt for the sake of its virtues and benefits, and to distinguish it as the noblest jewel in the world above all other things and to make it recognisable, to hold it high, to honour it; but also to give it to the next person for the use for which it is ordained by God.
The majestic figure, signature and beauty of this marvellous body should also awaken us from its origin to see the high Creator again and to get to know him all the more if we conclude when the creature is so beautiful and glorious how much more must the Creator of the same be beautiful, glorious and majestic and how strongly are we obliged in all the days of our lives to love with all our hearts and souls and to praise and thank him with all our strength.
Salt is a some thing and a some matter in the realm of nature that is in all things is that with all the sciences I can not bring back to its original principles and as it has prepared itself therefore we do not want to enter to speak of the multiplicity and specified salt.
But to remain the thread that is tied to ours as the main stream of the witness mother the natural and the common salt for it would be an infinite but also futile labour to deal with all the peaks of the salts which, as thought above, do not change in their main reason through the manifold specification but are and remain at all times the formal essence.
However, natural salt is divided into four types:
A, earth salt,
B, sea salt,
C, kitchen salt and
D, distant body salt.
Earth salt is divided into different types: firstly, minerals, stone and clay, secondly, animals, and thirdly, plants and fruits.
But it would be especially necessary to remember the salt of metals as it is said that the philosopher's stone will be made from it, as Paracelsus recalls. The such , from the metals of the metals and through the metals that is of the salt of the metals which probably come closest to the philosopher's stone Senior says: Sal metallorum is Lapis Philosophrum: Bring salt from the metal in white and red if you want to have bread.
It is certain that the metals have in them a liquid fusion and salty ability that have an ingress and influence in other metals that are capable of fermenting volatile immature and combustible sulphur to close the same pores compact and heavy to make the volatile figurate and the combustible attenuate.
This is to be preserved for combustion but this is not our purpose to speak only of the natural and common salt which the high Creator has endowed with such infinitely great powers and properties and has revealed to man as a special high good and benefit and wants to share it, but according to the wise these lower salts are not given so much power to share with animals because they lack the metallic tincture property, but high as a no to human health to prepare and use with great praise as daily experience proves and even since it is nevertheless used in his cow.
No one should be surprised at the action of the so marvellous form shape beauty properties do and powers of salt of which little or nothing is known in the generally revealed, but about its inferior marvellous juices of so hyacinth-white Mercurius and chimney-red Sulphur only if we become the witness parents of salt namely the two great light suns and moon the night part according to say the mathematics around four times larger than the globe as the sun an unbearable fire therefore the moon of the same as a cold light opposite the streets to concentrate therein To concentrate the ray therein so that such all creatures and exhaust bearable and do not have to languish under it as well as the innumerable stars together with their size and distance dripping down juices are considered and as from the salt we all carry all bodies in the immeasurable great realm of nature both the minerals as vegetables and animalia which I may be determined not only their essentiality of becoming and being as well as their form and formation.
Especially the plants take and have their flowers fruits magnificent colours beauty smell strength and sound Consequently, the male must concentrate and be ashamed of his ignorance.
These imaginary rivers of the sun, moon and stars, which are begotten of hyacinth-white Mercurius and crimson Sulphur and incorporate the salt, are luminous bodies and colouring juices which colour their essences brilliant as oriental pearls and black reddish as a garnet or gold. the Blessed ? Said: The Virgin Venus will give you her pearls her water spirit to appease Marti's fire spirit, for Marti's anger and fire will willingly turn into love and gentleness in the Virgin Venus' love fire and thus unite both qualities as fire and water.
The choice of virginal milk, laden with phlegmatic moisture, is all too harmful to the tender cow of Virgo's nature, therefore, in order to be a healthy and God-blessed nutrimentt, they must be mixed together to give the suckling child no necessary nourishment.
Hortus Hesperidum said: when spirit and soul are united with the body and from it the body catches the life of perfection since you and then the corpus imperfectum is resurrected from its imperfection brought to perfection ,for this full spirit of fire in which the king bathes and is regenerated in which he is united with the same and made conformable is the true bath in which the irr the corporeal being of the heavenly Saliter that is the spirit of fire Spiritus Animator and catches united and is made into a single being that is salt Albertus Magnus said every thing is dissolved and that which it was in the beginning is dissolved again. what it was in the beginning, for example, ice was water and when heat is imparted it becomes water again, so also the metals were Mercurius then they are dissolved again Mercurius the beginning to prepare our salt is the dissolution because through the dissolution the bodies are brought to the nature of the spirits which because the same sea is fixed as the spirits and must freeze together with the spirits, for those which are soaked by the water are softened the more you rub the more you make the coarse parts subtle until they are broken and divided from each other for the spirits with the bodies in fascination or suitability are completely dissolved which happens with rubbing.
Incerate and roast; so that by rubbing with water and roasting with fire, the connected parts of the bodies with which the components are glued together are dissolved and the bodies themselves are thereby brought to the nature of spirits.
Your imperishable spirit, O God, is in all things.
The celestial influence, the rays of the sun and the moon, the juice of the two great lights brought down by the wind into the Aaron is a being driven together and thickened by the winds, an acidum, a sour, a fluffy sulphur and uncoagulated salt, a vessel or container of the astral seed, a stony substance with which the air is impregnated and the earth is fermented imbibed and incerated, also inspected and impregnated.
This heavenly fire juice is a being present everywhere, a spirit present everywhere, which has the power to liberate everything and to command and to animate and to move and to keep in motion. Earthliness, which as a magnet, unites with and in itself, it gains in it.
It becomes thick and confesses in it, it spreads and attaches itself to others, it becomes fixed and made more lively, it colours and exalitises its metallic sulphur into white and red in summa, it is capable of everything and does everything that is required of it until it has overcome its corpus and found rest in it as in its element and centre, because no essential being has united the active force with the properties that become stone and has thus been illuminated by the well Attic spirits, the Australian seed, the upper light and has been raised to the true salt, which is salt of the wisdom salt of glory, for in it the repulsive elements of fire and water must be united.
Heat and cold Dryness and humidity fixed and volatile Compare with each other, unite and get along in friendship so that they become one and cannot be separated without one but judge in eternity as the qualities of this salt as the true being requires.
These two imaginary tinged white and red succession spirits and spiritus animati which have their origin from the two great lights as the white one from the moon and the red one from the sun the white one is a lunar sulphur, a juice flowing out from the moon a fat marrow a white mercurius or white oil that is incombustible and therefore is called silver oil.
But the red one is a solar sulphur, an effluent from the sun, a flowing juice and fat marrow, which is therefore called a gold sulphur, a solar fire, a gold of God
This sulphur is very full and biting and witty, so the cold lunar outflow has been set against it, for if the sun had not been set against the moon, the world and all creatures would have perished and been seduced, so the moon has been placed between the sun and the world so that the latter has temperate weather that is never too warm or too cold.
Nevertheless, each planet has its own effect and sympathetic outflow so that it may act specifically on its body, especially the white on white and the red on red other figures could not be cast specifically white and red per se
But although the salt is worked in the astris and developed in the earth so that all things may take their origin and become from it, nothing else happens than through this putrefaction which, because putrefaction is the first effect of granting, the essence of the old must rot and die before a new one can become.
For through putrefaction the former or old must lose its form and a new one be introduced, for the new is nothing but a seed hidden in the old which is not able to come forth; the old is spoilt by putrefaction, contrary to the saying that one man's life is another man's death and one man's rising is another man's sinking.
How then its seed can grow up as long as it does not rot and it dies that is through the dark through the outer its low moisture that softens into agile salt and seed power, becomes moist swells up, is awakened into life that it takes root sprouts and hems that is then a new becoming so that no fruit can grow up it would then be the old astral through.
The water is like the seed destroyed by putrefaction so that it becomes black and dark, whereby a new one is unlocked to become white like an oriental pearl
Through putrefaction, transformation also occurs, as a body is changed from one nature to another; example: The carcass of an animal rots on the earth, from which the earth becomes fat and produces beautiful grass, the grass is eaten by a cattle, which becomes fat and strong, or an apple produces a worm in it one often sees in Hungary and Corinth that gold leaves present themselves in the grapes, which conveys to people who hold gold and silver that the ore is made productive but all this is nothing strange nowadays, especially as the new discovery proves that the three kingdoms, the mineral, vegetarian and animal, are as closely connected and linked as the rings on a chain, for mineral bodies are found that have an animal life, as well as bodies that are equally mineral and animal.
Just look at the skeleton of a human or animal that is made of bone, a peach and all stonelike fruits whose exterior is vegetarian but the interior is stone-like, the crab with its shells, the snail with its shell.
Thus one finds all the time great equality of the one with the other as then also the corals are a strange plant since one stands however to the reason of all these bodies so the nature salt of all their principles reason and root is invented that they are in the centre one and depend on each other but they get along very amicably with each other and transform.
Although salt comes from the earth and is made from the earth, it is not a mineral and has no mineral properties other than that it has coagulated in the earth to become a stone-like substance and has become solid and hard so that it can be completely painted, but it is a coagulated water that has coagulated in the earth and has thickened in it and become stagnant like the serious case that freezes as water in the earth and thus becomes ice, just as it can then be brought back into water by art without some feces.
Therefore, of course, the earth has its communion with the salt, nor yet with the water, for if the salt flows dissolved with the water through the felt paper, the water can be expanded again and if the salt flows with the water into the earth, the salt remains in the earth and the water flows through the organ vessels. or like a receptacle, since the salt flows through the water into the earth, that is, into its matrix or element, so that it may flow therein and reach perfection, again not only the salt or the seed of the salt but also the seed of all minerals, metals and stone-like bodies lies in the water and is led through it into the earth, but it also has the water.
This good deed in itself, that when it finds its way into the earth and loses itself, it soon loses its burden, discards the leading seeds and passes through its organs as a distillate, bright and clear, but the salt can be extracted from the earth, but not as with the bodies of natural rice, which must be burnt by fire and then calcined, then only extracted from the ashes if one wants to have their salt and that the more the calcination, solution, filtration, coagulation happens, the purer, brighter and more crystalline it becomes and it should also happen 100 or 1,000 times, which no other thing in the world is able to do with it clearly that is Sam mineral so long that is not a mineral but a beginning and seed of all minerals and metals and can be dissolved in water although it is hard as a stone.
Salt was called salt by the Germans because of its virtues and properties. But the Hebrews call it Mallach from the word fire or a pungent and liquid matter which is endowed with a hidden fire and which is fire and water at the same time and which receives the same in a light liquid according to the Hebrew word this is a thing in which fire and water stand together in a concordance but it means a matter that bites sharply and is corrosive that penetrates and acts again which is a spice for flavouring which is healthy and preserves health which is used as a balm for dead bodies and also for salting meat in order to make it durable in old age it is also the same kind and liquid and can be used in a variety of cases but this name applies far more to sali votali and sal acido, then to common salt.
Such a name actually comes from the root word Sal, Saha, Sallai, Salia, Salius, Salifa, Salma, Salem, item from the Nitro, Nitros, Niteus, that is shine, flow, increase fresh peace Friedrich Fried finished Geil well fine shimmer shine jump dance beautiful proud be all taken from the full moonlight, the same one pours down its outflow and rays or when the sun rises in the morning with its rays makes a glittering sparkle in the air as if it were full of mirrors and seriousness that are mixed up and move the same also happens when the sun forms a rainbow in the deepened clouds your sudden rain falls down with strong drops that cause a weaving and moving a shining.
Because then to paint the high clouds squeeze and drive the heavenly Sanita together so that it becomes quite thick that the air becomes full and affects the down especially with low travelling thunderstorms because the Sanita ignites and causes a nasty sulphur smell like its sensation which is afflicted with short breath and cannot be well received.
Not being able to breathe well because the acidum wants to suffocate them all at once this salt is seen as small pearls in the dry sand wastelands in such weather so the salt also takes its name from the word Jerusalem Solomon that is Frederick peaceable
No one will doubt the antiquity of salt, which is never such as the world is, because we have shown that without salt nothing could have become essential.
Therefore it is an impossible principle that the Lord God, the high Creator, in the beginning of his works of the great world edifice and of the same creatures, saw the salt to make the same essential to become essential and to be essential, because without such a subject as salt is, the world could not have become essential and manifested itself in the Book of Creation says that God in the beginning brought forth out of the water the heavens and the earth, that they manifested themselves in the being in the midst of all things out of the water.
Originally came and took its beginning from the water since either the matter is the salt in the thinness or the salt in the water melted empty therefore a muddy fat water was and the melted thick parts could contract therefore such a chaos or chaotic water was called because in it the salt lay more gently together with the sulphur niches skill and mercurial niches moisture melted and the great world building with all its parts could emerge according to the high creator and explored wisdom arrangement.
It was therefore, as I said, a water over which the Spirit of God hovered and, according to this book, in the first separation, as said above in paragraph six, the subtle parts of the light switch off from the thicket of darkness in which it is entangled and ascend to the heights in order to shine as a light in the heights of all heights and to prepare its office for this purpose.
In the second separation, the subtle water or fire and light full of matter separated from it the heaven and the whole heavenly here and all its rulers were to emerge that was above the best from the water below the best and in the third separation the water below the best had to separate and separate from its in itself engulfed thickness which according to the legend of the book exhaustion is called earth, to gather in a special place so that the dry sea could be grounded on the heart or salt from this dry body all creatures yet to be determined could be made but also to inhabit and nourish the same then the wisdom of God and his superior and providential grace made this earth the dry part of such a blessing power that both its inner and outer was an essential power being easily given to the noblest royal air since all creatures could have one supply after another.
And especially man as for whose sake all things were made, that he was made in heaven and on earth, and to keep him in all prosperity and health with food and drink as the fat and sweet of the land to hide both in plants grown fruits animals birds and spruces fish as a wine other drinks as then also the mountains with all hand metal, mineral and lay down for man as his household, without which agriculture and social life could not exist and if man, according to his duty, should make his devotion to it Thus he would be filled with admiration at the works and wisdom of God and the infinite goodness of His grace, and would bow down and seek to walk before God in a demo full of dejection, this power of blessing and essential being, the salt that has coagulated and become dry and earthy has contracted as a lump and the water has been separated from it, but not as happens in the salt sods or nitric boilers, by the flames of fire must be evaporated and evaporated, that the salt settles to the bottom and becomes a thick dry body, which in the beginning was a pure clear water and the salt acidum and alcali, which with a The parts or witness parents that form the water also form the parts that become stone as they lay hidden in the pores of the water like the spirits in the pores of the water as they both perfect and reveal themselves through putrification, so in the beginning the dry was in the moist but the moist was in the dry and revealed itself through the separation in the middle of the parts becoming stone with the illegible surely given here; For the superiority of the water has held the noble parts in the same in the thinness dissolved, so long until God called by his Fiat: Let it become and there it was, stepped forth, then it drew itself together out of its thinness and deliquescence so that it was there and could not be seen to set itself in motion, to stand together and to enter into an essential being or to begin to be honoured in order to regenerate itself.
For the becoming or it becomes is the time of putrification, in which there would not have to be but that it should have become first, but the seed of the essential being of power the components of the world the help with its captive holding bonds which hold the being of power had to swell up through the mitre like the seed in the farmer's field through the rotting, develop and break the bonds and free the components so that the seed may sprout and take root and the new being may be perfect, so the water has detached itself from the earth by moving and mitring and by the second command or order of the high Creator the water separates itself from the earth in the middle of both the water and the earth are torn apart from each other. water separated itself in the middle of both the water and the earth, since what was said above that the water is not the seed of salt but is only the seed's vessel whereby the seed is moved as a vessel in the water from one place to another, hence also that salt was not an invention of man but originally came from God's decree and was known in the very oldest times as the following paragraph will show.
The Book of Creation testifies that salt was known in ancient times When the patriarch Lot's wife fled from Sodom and looked back, she saw that she had been turned into hydrochloric acid - salt, and that the place where Sodom and Gomorrah had been It was turned into brine, therefore it was called the Salt Sea, see five Moses three Joshua twelve and 15 that was a salt place warm that Abimelech sowed the city of Shechem with salt that the king Darius put the duty of salt to the income of the temple in Jerusalem 3 4 that the prophet Elisha made the waters of Jericho drinkable with salt that Moses commanded Israel all his food and gave sacrifices with salt to salt.
Thus we read in the chronicles of Polidori and Virgilii that Moses and Selech were the first inventors of salt works and that they built them with great success. Pliny writes that Arcus Martius, the fourth king of Rome, Anne Mundi 33 11, was the first to build salt works, so Hodorus, Cicero, Strabo and Tacitus write a great deal about the construction of salt works.
In passing, let us remember the following remarks, which Genes. 2 in a marginal colossus since the patriarch Noa on divine Noah is said to have built the ark and made a window in it, since it is to be assumed that at that time the making of glass was not as common as it is today, even if according to the literal mind no glass could have been made without salt. Only Noah is said to have made this window with salt or from salt, since he knew how to make crystals with the help of salt and thereby illuminate the ark.
The author of the Book of Creation says that the Lord God made man from the dust of the earth and Christ says to his disciples you are the salt of the earth, so man is made from an extraction of the earth as an essence and power being of the earth that is made from salt Once again a proof that salt must have been the first substance at the beginning of the world and that the same fundamental salt therefore originates from the high antiquity all the more if the Chinese pretend to be the truth that the world should have already existed for more than 100,000 years and should have been made by God.
Psalm 92 verse 6
Lord, how I find your works so great and your thoughts so very deep, a fool does not believe it and
a fool does not respect it.
Christ is the dear Saviour said Marco chapter nine of the usefulness of salt and its virtues: that it is a good thing, but if it should become a spice, Lucas 14, that it should be used for nothing, neither in the field nor in the dunghill, but that it should be thrown away into the ways and highways to be trodden under foot; it is a good thing, a spice, to make food savoury and, as Moses says, a sweet savour to the Lord, who because it sings the Psalm again is the goodness of God what can be so beautiful so glorious so noble so sweet and pleasant in the world as the goodness of God the goodness of the Lord which is new every morning what can be heard in the world more pleasant and beautiful than to speak of the goodness of God?
For therein is all comprehended it is called all and is all and signifies all and since the blessed King David, under the word of the goodness of the Lord, wished to exalt and praise the salt as the highest and greatest good of God in external nature and as the most beautiful and best thing why should we not also do this to praise and extol God's honour in this part according to the measure of light, which he has done to us in order to give the world an account of such good things, so that they may not be ignorant of the great benefits they daily enjoy, that they may be grateful to God for them and ask him to give them greater insight and light.
To describe and specify the properties of salt our pen is too blunt and our hand quite incapable so let us describe some of them.
First, it is an essential thing of God for the prosperity of the world; second, it makes all things in the kingdom of nature essential; third, it makes all things become and be essential; fourth, it is the first of the three pillars in the kingdom of nature; fifth, it is the whole great edifice of the world with all its creatures resting on it; sixth, it is the blessing of God's goodness with which he crowns his land.
Seventhly, that it is a seasoning of food and an ointment of all things to put them into permanence, eighthly, a quintessence and power of all nature, ninthly, to enliven all things and drive them into growth, tenthly, a balm and lifeblood, the third pillar in medicine, eleventhly, which is its intrinsic white and red savoury of a sweet smell sweeter than honey and sugar what it is capable of in 1000 other things would be a work of infinite description and especially what it can do in alchemy that the main trot is from it all things must be conducted also how to convert it into an earthly sanitizer which is very tolerable to gunpowder and again field is to be promoted with it we want to hand over shortly because said enough to present work is small.
In the Bible one reads a very fine hylori, which is worthy of special reflection and deserves that we have our view on it when it says it went out from Eden a river to water the garden and from there it divided and became four main rivers the first water is called Pison, which flows around the whole land of Hevila, and the same is found gold and the gold of the land is deadly and that itself is called Bedelion and the precious stone Onix.
The other water is called Gihon, and flows around the whole of Morenland, the third water is called Hidockel, which flows for Not legible and the fourth water is called the Phrath.
Here the chronologists and writers of the earth take great pains to think out the areas of these four main rivers, together with the lands and the garden in Eden, but the good masters have not yet unanimously guessed and invented the location of the same fortune, so that all things lie in a completely different position that cannot be found in any map or description of the earth but we will leave them their minds as they must leave ours to us the author of this said book says that gold is found in the waters of Pison and that the same gold is very deadly even if one finds in it bedellion and the precious stone onix. oh deadly gems, oh marvellous precious stones that are only found in the river Pison as those who have the science to immortalise the deadly gold with the two inestimable precious stones will have a tremendous advantage in gaining possession of the garden and them, for it is the true Sal Metallorum, the salt of nature, the salt of the wise, the science of the ancient or again honest Count de Marsiano says that Gold of God the gold of nature the gold from the land of the noble ,The said salt is something divine and a matter that as the ancient Greeks say is closest to God and as Esdra says that they are illegible a fountain of wisdom a river of science and a source of truth in his fourth book it is the root of the world the lord of the world the eye of the world it is the matter of which God formed Adam the first man it is the matter of which Doctor Dousendan in his mystere Croix says that it comes to be an Arcanum Mysticum the noble life of all nature and à la creatures it is the quintessence of nature Homeros says that the salt of God is pleasant Zoroasta, Anaxagora, Plato and many others say that salt is a matter worthy of all esteem because it has something divine and a sign of the divine presence that reveals to man the divine holiness and majesty that is the divine beauty that presents holiness and validity because God reveals himself according to his divine goodness in salt as in a holy thing that is closest to God in it is the world's treasure and wealth in it is man's prosperity and health, a Franciscan monk in France, a very great man who lived for God, says in Confect veri de Lap. Philos. of the salt: forgive God, know me, that all men need salt and use it in all things and all creatures are recited with it so that the high God did not like the creatures in the Old Testament without salt as he commanded that no sacrifice be offered without hydrochloric acid - salt is also found in all things the natural rice the stones the plants the animals the whole secret is in the salt whoever knows the salt and how to dissolve it and how to extract it I swear to you by the God of heaven without whom his God is not a God who is omniscient and knows what I say that if someone does not know the secret of the salt that the same God is not a God who is omniscient and knows what I say.
Secret of salt that he understands neither much nor little of the mysteries Hort Hesperidum salt is a shelter of all treasures or a treasure of all treasures from it we have our will our life and our being and God has placed his sacred great treasures in the realm of nature in the same and opened it to his faithful servants revealed to his faithful servants, for the same is a treasure of the man of nature a treasure of truth and a mercury of wisdom an essence of perfection and a being of bliss holiness and imperishability the same has everything that in this time does not make man blissful Conrad. de Leipzig, what can I say in this mystery-rich mystery of the natural triune saturnine, universal chaos so the son of the great world is and dwells in the salt of wisdom universal natural i.e. material: Sal Sapientia. Rather think about where the salt of wisdom got its name from.
In the salt is the active nature, indeed the fertility of nature that drives all things into their growth. the elixir should have its salt also salt is strength and youth. Paracelsus: know that salt is the earthly balm of man and all things, for where there is no salt, everything goes to decay, whether living or dead, for the sake of man's health, salt is a great treasure.
Author Soliloqnii says: praise be to God who created salt and placed this knowledge in it.
Lumen Luminis Father Heart says: if God had not created salt, the elixir could not be made Arnold de Villanova: the labourer becomes less who can do nothing without salt and the same if one wanted to shoot with an arrow without salt.
Fons Ammatin: the hops and the malt are and will be lost if the hand does not help the salt.
Paracelsus: Salt, salt is the noblest thing in alchemy.
Joh. De Fontina: The whole mastery consists in salt, sulphur and oil, for the first matter is no other than the last, which is salt, into which the bodies are finally resolved.
Jakob Böhm says: The salt is the nature of the nature of sulphur and Mercury produced by it Author decay and crime of all things: Salt is a sign of eternity Author bleeds nature it is a single subject around in which all the upper and lower powers are gathered together from which unheard-of things are made Hollandus: this subject around which is a precious salt has in itself a hidden soul therefore the ancient sages called such a salt a cast salt, Laurent Ventura :this salt is white as silver on the outside and red as gold on the inside.
Lullius: a salt is made from a thing of its own by burning, from which ashes a salt is extracted.
Marsciano: the salt is our gold I take the metallic salt it is the father of metals it is the dew of heaven and the skill of earth it is the blessed bread of heaven the heavenly manna, a divine salt extracted from the dew of heaven hence called a frozen dew.
Nysement: the salt is that which gives form to all things and cannot be seen without salt indeed nothing is coagulated without the salt this is that which gives form and hardness to gold and all metals as from the diamond and in all stones.
Senior Rosarium Gloria Mundi and others :he who knows the salt and its solution as its coagulation knows the hidden secret of all wise men Because the one who knows how to serve the salt has the key to the whole secret of this great science.
Moses the great lawgiver in Israel says in his third book, chapter eleven, of the salt of all thy meat offerings thou shalt salt with salt, and shalt not leave off the salt of the covenant of thy God from thy meat offerings. And in the fourth book, chapter 18, all your sacrifices of holy things, which sanctify the children of Israel, you have given to the Lord your priests, to their sons and daughters, and his perpetual statutes, and this shall be a perpetual covenant of salt from the presence of the Lord, chapter 13, it is not for you to know that the Lord God of Israel has given the kingdom over Israel to David and his sons forever with a covenant of salt.
This act is very important and wants to say oh you children of Israel of the blessed partriarch in Jacob of the seed of Isaac and Abraham do you not know as you should know that God the Lord the King of heaven has given the kingdom over Israel to David and his sons with a salt covenant, that is with a legal covenant and attached seal of eternity but long lasting.
If they will walk according to the law of obligation that is written in their hearts, this surrender has two purposes, one for the kingdom of the outer state and the other for the kingdom of the inner state, which is the spiritual state. But of the second God has willed to say that his honour lies in it and that it is far more important to me than the worldly kingdom, whose inhabitants are all kings and priests, that is, people who are called according to the election of grace from every generation, tongue and language of the earth.
That they are not only as kings and priests in the life to come but already in this time of grace a kingdom and priesthood of God since the Lord of heaven and earth dwells in them, the Lord already wants to reign responsively so that they may then become priests and kings in his heavenly kingdom on which assurance he has printed his sanctified seal the covenant of salt that is yes and amen.
Of men this covenant of salt has its influence and object on man, who is made of dust of the earth, that is, an extraction or dust of the earth from salt of the earth, who has been animated and enlivened by the breath of God, under whom the Lord God testifies his favour when he walks in his births and because of them. as he, through his prophets and the souls of God's men, so earnestly and urgently calls us to promote our salvation that we can clearly see how man is highly esteemed in God's eyes and far superior to all creatures and although we have much in common with all living creatures in outward nature.
As for example seeing hearing smelling feeling breathing drawing eating drinking sleeping waking rain and moving so we have nevertheless very much special ahead that proves our nobility stand that we are to be counted with those in its equality as we are of a twofold nature and life as we have an immortal soul an imperishable spirit and a body that shall rise again from death that we hope for a blessed life or an unblessed one if we do not walk according to the wild God in the outer but that we can speak sing laugh cry think Sense comprehend all hand speak arts and sciences learn that we can make heard seen scholars by speaking and writing others to knowledge and communicate that we can with our senses instantly the world by travelling in the sky and climb into the abyss that they of all things and can make a concept as if we had seen
The soul of man is, as thought above, from the elemental i.e. etheric spirit of the great world, since it has the natural and creative in common with all creatures that animate and move it.
But this soul is also very different in men, for in some it is very flexible and lively, lively and ready, in others it is lazy, sluggish, heavy, stupid and impassable, and in others it is malicious, angry, envious and furious; it is basically something that we do not know but is hidden from our eyes, as it has a life and dwells in the blood of all creatures, and that it was given life by the high Creator in the beginning of all creatures and therefore commanded to eat his blood.
Cornelius Agrippa has taught that as long as a natural moisture remains in the dead human being, his soul can be felt in the dead body, so the soul is an invisible spirit, a life and power being in the blood and the blood in a faculty of nature, as has been said several times above.
Just as the soul reigns and dwells in the blood. So the spirit that comes from God and is seen by God and is given by God rules and dwells in the sinews that Solomon the white king says then it animates the soul and soon seeks to make it spiritual and heavenly according to its qualities and origin, whereas the spirit of the flesh is the same spirit that seeks to direct the soul according to its qualities. the spirit of the flesh seeks to direct it according to its qualities, for each one endeavours to lead the soul to its origin the spirit given by God is an eternally unceasing being and essence and a being emanating from the great being of all beings and its all being and its these causes the spirit of man is a spiritual being and is invisible, so that it is only known in power and not in essence if it wants to guide the soul to God's works and in the resurrection must be united through it with the clarified body so that it can reign eternally in an indestructible life.
Therefore man is both according to the outward in final being a house and dwelling place of God a temple of God the place where God wants to dwell and rest as in his centre and sabbath. man is the workshop of God in which God works teaches and wants to preach man is the actual being and instrument through which God wants to work and essentially reveal himself.
Therefore he takes all his pleasure and delight in man, so that man should make every endeavour to purify his body, soul and spirit and to keep them purified, so that he may be a pleasant dwelling place for this high guest and be able to entertain him according to his high character, so that man is a very noble creature made by God and far more glorious than we can imagine, and therefore the ancient sages said that in man is found much more glorious than no man.
Basil Valentinos says that human reason, according to the physician, cannot adequately comprehend and grasp, much less discuss, for reasons still foreign, what kind of medicine can be prepared from the microcosm, for it contains the perfect healing of all infirmities, so that like is expelled and sanctified with like, and therefore it is said that God has not only placed the highest medicine in man, but has also made him his own physician.
The salt, therefore, as stated above, consists of its three essential things as salt sulphur and mercurius or spiritus illegible and corpus, namely a salt of earthliness of a soul of ethereal essence of ethereal essence and a spirit of austral action as has been said of men composed by nature and made contractible and distinguishable by the bond of God's wisdom What compatibility the example of Christ teaches us, as he was a mediator between God and men according to his divine nature with God and according to his human nature with men, and thus reconciled men with God.
For all these reasons mentioned above, salt has been held in very high esteem and honoured in the following ages, so that its knowledge has been far more circumspect than in our times.
If it stood in high credit as its character and worthiness deserved, as the mighty of the earth queen princes and republic when they treated alliance or peace they placed in a golden vessel the salt together with a vessel of fire in their midst to change to the divine presence secondly when they held festivities and meals the salt had to be applied as the first illegible in their all presence, for the whole company of the same bowed before the same and made a deep compliment also the salt had to remain as the last and legible and be carried off with the same example with the same ceremony and if anyone.
In the meantime, salt was rejected or turned back on itself, much evil was prophesied by the same, thirdly, in the first church of the Christians, salt must be present when the Lord's mark of love was held, and fourthly, when someone was baptised, a pinch of salt was given to the person being baptised during the act of baptism, in which abuse occurred during this ceremony, so that even dead people were baptised, such was dismissed and considered better to refrain from doing so.
Salt has been signed and designated by the Theosophists, Kabbalists and Magis with the following characters, both because of its intrinsic qualities and virtues and because of its exquisite majesty and beauty, so that it may remain unknown and obscured to the ignorant, but thereby awaken the imagination of nature and encourage the uninitiated to reflect on it, but those who do not know the reason for it do not know what things are being dealt with the first character is a round circle with a diametral line cutting through its centre 🜔 Salt.
The second character is a square with a
diametrical line cutting through its centre .
With the first you have seen the great world which, according to historians and mathematicians, is considered to be round but elongated from round, in which everything is to be found and encountered that is necessary for the prosperity of the world among men with the second but they have confessed on the origin and properties of salt as which of the four adult beginnings or units has its origin as has been thought above that consists of three principles and is to be decided in two beings that is in water and fire of the earth as which are an essential being of the same.
Salt, the small world which consists of the great one, has and possesses just that little which is to be found in the great one, as in the same is to be found the heavenly and earthly water and earth air and fire light and darkness life and death warm and cold moist and dry fleeting and fixed acting and suffering.
For the upper part of the character shows fire under the lower water which, however, mediated by the diametrical lines or the equator are different but have also been made compatible as by one wall since they are joined together by the celestial Sulphur that they dwell together as in one indissoluble bond in peace contentment and unity are united in it a centre of their own and united which is the centre of their like kind and like weight of things which are of one sex and blood which are of one origin and nature which are of one another his being and life are equally well as the fire the soul of the earth and the air of the soul and the water therefore the blood is the soul of the body and the spirit is the soul of the blood because the earth cannot exist without fire and the water without air now and then the fire is the soul of the air and the air is the soul of the fire the water is the soul and the life of the earth and the earth is the soul of the water the necessity and the working of nature requires that all time are two things which although they are of one sex and blood yet in nature are repugnant to each other that is one suffering and the other working so that one moves the other and maintains it in motion. of one sex and blood yet in nature repugnant to each other that one is suffering and the other is acting so that one moves the other and sustains it in motion similar things are without motion consequently also without effect because by one acting and one suffering a third is produced as daily examples prove but a great mystery exists in nature which is worthy of our attention that water acts is salt and salt is coagulated water ,fire is a solvated air and air is a thickened fire, hence acidum.
Fire and air are a coagulated earth, which is salt or alkali, and this alkali or salt then becomes air and then fire through the solution of water. For all their centres are of one flower of one quality and one essence, since Mercurius and Sulphur are also spirit and soul.
Unite with her body and make it compatible that is coagulate in the earth stand thick and firm that is so earth or salt for example become such a mineral body so also on the other hand the salt or earth can be raised by Mercur and so drove to a heavenly spirit while one works into the other and in their innermost flows together mingles and becomes one like water with water mingle together without which mingling and uniting they do not come to any heavenly that is a fruit fortune that is to warm to a new weakening or becoming salt.
Doctor Dousendan, a French enthusiast author of the treatise Mysterium de la Croix said: the secret
of salt lies in the cross .
The ancient sages were very unfavourable in attributing to it only
a celestial origin by designating it with a compass and a perpendicular line , which at the
same time has a diametrical line
, of the figures that these two lines are the figure which
are infallible in the nitro) of the illegible of the tit
, which represents the beginning and
the completion of all mysteries in nature, because the cross in the compass has in itself the four elements but more 🜂 Fire than 🜁 Air, 🜃 Earth 🜄 Water, therefore only the same presents now however the painted figure contains the false
elements and the mystery of the cross in itself so that in it the male and female are understood.
To get the father and mother the sun and the moon like the same from this closed body after they may be purified reunited with each other and made into one indestructible being is like mixing two disgusting elements water and fire with each other to unite spirit and soul with the body.
The salt of the wise as the salt of wisdom is also designated by the ancient whites with a round compass in it a diametrical line and a half perpendicular line on which a large cross stands the round compass is the figure of the vitriol and the cross is, as Basil Valentinus said, the goddess Fortuna's chariot, the cross is a figure consisting of two dwarf beams placed one on top of the other and signifying the manifold passions of men, especially the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, although he died on a cross and in his great agony was drenched with vinegar and gall to revive his spirits and increase his passions.
But there is a great mystery twisted in the cross that requires it to be guarded with the eyes of the spirit, since it serves as a comfort to the pious but is too bare for the wicked, otherwise this character also denotes salt.
The white of the white masters with all its properties and practices how to prepare the highest medicine from it.
Salt has been described by the old German boxes with the following literals very finnreich and legible as with an S that is a letter there when it stands alone something holy sanctified and blessed that is blessed by God presents a double circle that is sun and moon as the same on the horizon stand one above the other like the sun Its rays descend into the moon both Influence but is a sap a fire composed of two waters an Australian fire sap a sky generated from the dawn and the stars sap communing perennial path earth pouring of the water around the same when it from the sun heat or Düren east wind And to become legible possibly dried again to moisturise and to make terrible but also to preserve the salt of the earth in its essence and to promote its effect.
But it also signifies in a special way the heavenly and earthly regions which are joined together and connected by the bond of God's wisdom, just as the earth is nourished and made fruitful by heaven, therefore the spiritual patriarch Isaac blessed his son Jacob with the same when he said God give you of the dew of heaven and the fertility of the earth because he knew that these two are the main principles of an expected rich harvest of the seed of the vine and of the cattle. two are the main principles of an expected rich harvest of the seed of the vine and the livestock furthermore with a capital A the A is a letter if it stands alone it also means according to the old dialect that is a place rich in water Au Au a water nest since groundwater and river water is what makes the place a moss since many countries cities and villages are found whose accent is connected to the Au have example Hanau Hagenau Rassau Dessau Breslau Lugau Soltau Lindau Friedau is but also the A means the beginning of all things that is God who speaks there himself am I not the A and O furthermore with an L the L means something heavenly marvellous divine volume worthy that is SA L the S is solar and the L is lunar both unite in the A as their centre that is in the salt these people the Z or T Z and is called salt or lunar. worthy that is SA L the S is solar and the L is lunar which both unite and intertwine in the A as in their centre that is in the salt this people the Z or T Z and is called salt or salt the illegible the illegible letter and shows the end but at once he points to the beginning as salt is the first and last matter which can never cease nor perish but is at the last what it was in the beginning as when a corpus is reduced to ashes by decomposition and burning that it ceases to be what it was in its form and shape so it goes back into its first being namely into the salt as into its mother which gave it birth and becomes from it a new one that is a beginning being and matter a fruit to become anew as in which nature according to its property continues to work for a new one for the office or regiment that is the active power can never cease to work but administers its office received from God to become a new fruit as in which nature, according to its property, continues to work for a new one because the office or regiment, that is the active power, can never cease to work but faithfully administers its office received from God so that only the creatures and products change, that is the essential nature of the present creatures decay and become salt, but the salt remains eternal and is always a seed and essential becoming and being of a new fruit.
By this description the Balaists have thus not only wanted to say the matter of salt but also what it consists of, from whom it has its origin, what its virtues and qualities are and what its nature of power is.
This is therefore a repetition of the three previous letters, possibly also TZ, which is the revealer of the whole mystery of salt.
He shows us how the salt can be destroyed and reunited, how the upper and the lower, the heavenly and the earthly, the fleeting and the fixed, can be united and joined: The artful discerner separates the earthly body from the spiritual and heavenly so that one may be recognised for the other, and because the hidden soul is in both and proves to be true, it is also true in everything, for it binds the heavenly and earthly together as with a bond, therefore if we separate the heavenly and earthly so that the soul leaves its body, then you have separated and bound all three, which afterwards become true knowledge and the soul is bound to the body.
Composition will result in such a triumph and a purified body, for when heaven and earth are burnt up and mourned together on the last day, the Burning beings again Apostle says burn the forest by such burning the useless is burnt off and thickened after such but the pure with the heavenly is raised to one chair in the same degree that from then on to eternal times neither one may be separated from the other neither by forces of fire nor otherwise
The ancient Romans saved Egyptians and other peoples also held salt in high esteem Illegible Illegible as the chronicles give the same have erected pyramids and honours or memorials so they have placed on the one dragon that has its tail in its mouth as if it were illegible but nevertheless all the time next to it on other pillars they have placed two dragons one with wings and the other without wings as one holds the other by the tail in its mouth as if they wanted to meet and eat each other thus they have indicated how the fleeting and the fixed are to be united but the fleeting may overcome the fixed.
Tail holds the other in its mouth as if they wanted to meet and consume each other thus they have indicated how the fleeting and the fixed are to be united with each other but that the fleeting may overcome the most jerky again written by Nicolaus Flamellus very skilfully on a third column were to be seen a nymph that is water he goddess under the name Salmacis, of whom it is said that when she saw the hermaphrodite, the son of Mercury and Venus, sitting naked in a bath, she fell so deeply in love with him that she jumped in and embraced him and begged the gods that she might be united with him for ever and have only one body, which wish was granted her.
Fourthly, they also founded a temple in honour of salt and sacrificed in it to a goddess called SALus, who had a bowl of food in her right hand and a snake in her left hand which she fed, not to mention other normal ones.
But just as salt with its virtues and powers has been unknown and hidden to us, so also the way of obtaining and extracting the same food and powers has been unknown and hidden to us, because men, like the people of Sodom, were struck with blindness of heart and did not desire to be wiser or to promote the honour of God out of the world's wealth, but enjoyed the tasty salt without caring for it.
They did not desire to be wiser or to promote the honour of God from the world's wealth, but enjoyed the tasty salt without worrying what virtues and qualities it had or what it had been designed for by the high Creator, Why is the food a good "gou" since the writings of the blessed men of God of the old and new testaments report what we can do great things and secrets as in treasure and treasure powers of nature are kept in it and can be lifted from it but not all men have the power if but not all men have the power.
To demand the same, neither the illegible of God nor the salt is to blame for this illegible God the Lord, according to his merciful grace, has seen all men and made them legible so that no one is excluded from it except those who exclude themselves or have made nature illegible, therefore the divine illegible has also ordained and provided the most sacred and often sealed with his holy hand that no unworthy person may attain to it that his name and his gifts remain holy and are honoured by all the world the author of the illegible possibly Lilium says if the world illegible what great gifts and good deeds the Lord God has put into the salt they should lie day and night from the illegible God around the illegible of the mystery and illegible of a pious life illegible but also tear their hair out with shame of their stupidity that they have such a high and legible knowledge of God which they enjoy daily since man is created for the praise of God that he may recognise his wondrous works and praise him for them and although they still say that Dishonestly difficult to learn the mystery of sales from the writings of the world, the grace of God, on the other hand, is only more powerful and is revealed in works through faith, but faith is illegible for certain that no one will reach this great mystery through speculation and experimentation.
All possessors of this high science are bound by love and oath to God and their masters to partake of this salt usefulness and not to speak, write and empty other than under covert speech that no one understands except those who have received the key to it and therefore history also happens that the real and true owners of art that the real and true owners of art all understand each other They lived 2 3 and more 100 or so many 1000 years ago and have written in what language it is as if they had lived today and spoken to each other.
Therefore Rhasius says: that we have written our books only for ourselves and our sons and not for ignorant or unprofessional and impostors who either swarm around in the world or write books as if they were owners of this high science, but who are nothing but impostors, falsifiers of the truth and deceivers of the people, stupid and cattle-like people who understand as much about this artistic truth, the secret of salt, as the most stupid miller's donkey.
Paracelsus and Count Berhanrdus say:
Such men have no lack of mouth they can talk and swear like the forest they know and can do
everything they possess the greatest secrets and want to make others rich who are in the greatest
poverty which should be enough for a reasonable man to compare that all of the same fellows are
nothing other than swindlers and through their swindlers all those who believe their pretence fall
into extreme poverty but also obscure the truth and give it a higher evil name.
For surely an honest man comes to no one's house to offer these secrets to work or sell whoever does so is truly a deceiver for an honest man lives for himself in silence he studies prays and works for himself he knows that everything is for God's blessing that the truth is written in the white masters books that they are such for the sake of the intentions have described will with concealed words therefore without ceasing God asks for shining eyes of understanding that he may see the truth but not seek to deceive the world or want to empty something that he does not have and does not understand so we wanted to say clearly by the present that no one wants to give ear to such lying spirits if he is not an enemy of himself and his property and should it happen that someone should.
If any of our writings on the secret of salt can be read, the work will be easily recognised by our own and other true high art owners, since no cool murderer and no metal can understand what we have said about the secret of salt, that it is the highest and greatest good of God in the kingdom of nature.
That is the true all in all in external nature is the true salt in nature the salt rebis the salt of wisdom and the salt of science that is the animated salt and will never learn to understand it, nor be able to comprehend what we have said, but those who possess the key to this mystery and know what kind of salt it is and the subject is to be taken in which, although it is of one kind in all things, it is nevertheless right to mention that with vegetarian and mineral powers it is associated with Mercury and Sulphur, especially since it has the advantage over all others of not being able to resurrect from the ashes that form which it was, the salt of animals, especially of men is a marvellous experiment and high medicine which is not to be found in the animal.
The salt of the metals and minerals here not to be thought of because manly known what marvellous as no can be prepared from it and we that generally accepted that imparts that the low metal in the perfectly transported and argued in silver or gold that because according to the same reason conclusions same produces its like the cooking salt but can be applied in the kitchen to flavour all the dishes and recommend mechanical arts and use.
The salt nature as the mother of all salts and seed of all things, main stream of which the Paradise Tablet says is a marvellous arcanum and the seed of the body called the fixed salt Able to reduce the hard metals in an ash that can be extracted with any liquor of the same essence and to pass in an oleum over the helmet. as it points the reason that one must choose the proper ones to those experiments.
Now that we have shown how the salt has different properties and usefulness, we have to say that all these salts, although they are of great power and effects in their external nature, cannot be applied in the same way. To this end they are ordained by the high Creator just as bodies must be inverted and turned into non-bodies if one wants to have the salt of the same, so the salt must also be inverted if one wants to have the same inner being of power then its outer being says Basilius Valentinus is no use but its in whom is the spirit that gives life power and strength and although the salt is manifold and can be applied manifoldly with use it still does not serve unless it is first prepared for it. How much more when its quality and impure nature is dismissed that its inner being is swept out.
Which is very consequently done by a some key .called a universal key then has two traffic with it the advanced the bolt can be pushed back and forward again that is it can bring back all bodies from their importance into the liquid from the liquid again into the skill.
But to obtain this key does not consist in an approximate invention hope just well or as the foolish illegible avoid also rant not learnt on the schools but as said above by an urgent prayer to God and as Dionysus Zacarias says with wrestling and fighting to God King Giver by a fervent prayer and invocation of God as also a keen pondering put what one read in the writings of the wise knights war says it there is no difficulty so great that it cannot be overcome by prayer and a keen enquiry, for God is the only giver of all good and perfect gifts and has promised to give everything in return, as in asking how much more then this gift, which is a gift of God, which is a great good and favour of God, which comes from God and is given by God, which God has seen to and arranged for the sake of man and his prosperity and health.
For how could man have become an essential if God had not seen the salt where could he have been and found his nourishment probably not as no for his elementary arian sickly and frail body would have been communicated to him and how could he have known what a secret the salt is if God himself had not why should he then have behaved towards men what he has arranged for their prosperity and ask him for it God in his nature and attributes is nothing but loving kindness grace and mercy so nothing can deny us nor let us intercede for what he has promised to give us Alone dear reader is not a bald and unsalted and tasty mouth prayer but a prayer and sacrifice of a sweet and well ending smoke work that the ascend to God and his throne so that one learns how to turn the salt that his power being is brought out therefore against a flutter of eternity because his prayer is a true and fluttering plant here everyone tries himself on his prayer so that it may be pleasing to God and move him to exaltation and accordingly this is the secret of salt not a common gift such as a rich man gives alms to a poor man, but it is a Extraordinarily great and high favour of God.
It is as Paracelsus and many others say a treasure of nature a treasure of all treasures a wealth of a wealth that even the princes have to pay I fortune what is nobler than the health that is hidden in the salt in the good things Thomas de Aquino says with Solomon the white does not call wisdom at all corners and streets at all gates of the cities gates and alleys come near to me you silly and foolish ones who lack wisdom come and be enlightened come you children and hear me I will teach you the wisdom of the Lord that you may understand what Alphidius and Senior say of the things before which men and boys daily pass by and do not esteem the reputation of which because it was rejected as a stone by the Babbel builders that a thing so bought for nothing is thrown on the dunghill and saved from the cattle a dunghill.
Which is the most exquisite thing in which God has honed the highest and greatest powers, and which Solomon king of Israel knew well and set before him as a light, because all beauty and exquisiteness cannot be compared with it, and silver and gold are to be regarded as small sand in comparison with it, because of the exquisite fruit it bears, which surpasses all the powers and juices of the world, and blessed are those who find it.
But also the man will be blessed who remembers such speeches and the son who lets such into his throat almost and writes in his tablet of the heart then now the salt of such high virtue and quality that no tongues can pronounce nor describe with the pen so this should not be made public but be secret in deepest secrecy so that the seeker may have his choice and way left but to ask God for it and plead or to refrain from researching but ask in faith and not doubt nor want to prescribe time and goal to God but firmly hope that he will obtain it then the salt with its doing qualities did not appear to him but to us for good and advantage he had no need of it but we because we were frail immortal and burdened with sorrow and worries we should nourish ourselves with labour and eat bread in the sweat of our brow so does such and life swarm and distort our health therefore God has seen the salt for the consolation of men and placed and revealed such high talents in it so according to the teaching of Basil Valentini, it is our duty to ask God for the disclosure of the same when he says to speak at the last, since you will follow me otherwise, learn that you will obtain from the eternal God, by ugly petitions, by diligent reading, investigating and fathoming nature and by diligent labour of manifold decomposition of all that eternal God therein lies hidden the highest wisdom in earthly glory next to the noblest health of the human body together with the riches of this temporal life we have promised him to give us all that for which we will ask him if he seems to be necessary and useful to us.
We have said above several times that salt is a single matter which consists of and in itself, so it is also only a single path and rose through which is to be disposed to it as it has been seen by God as will prove with examples that the divine wisdom of all nature and creature of all creature Nature digging the natural rice a single path prescribed and ordered through which it must walk and enter as through a gate to manifest itself manifold and in multiplicity this path is the seed from which and through which the generation happens all where the seed is awakened into life through the rottenness and sprouting, must take root and sprout through growth into perfection that is awakened into a fruit must grow apart from this path, all endeavour to speculate and artificiality is in vain in the same way divine wisdom has also prescribed to salt, which is the seed of all things, a certain way by which it is to prove its power and usefulness, that is, how it can be brought out of its unity into multiplicity without which way likewise all endeavour to think and think is in vain to draw out and preserve its being of power, because the same is closed and locked with such a firmness that it is not easy to get at it and nothing can be gained from other forms that it is impossible to get at it and nothing can be gained from other forms, for its and stone-like consistency has united with the essence in the most intimate way that it cannot be dissolved nor detached without only by the said way of extraction, which quality, however, is far more harmful to man than bearable if we were not accustomed to it from our youth, it would bring death to us by calcination alone, solution and coagulation, that is, by decomposition and combustion, the salt is rendered pliable and its stony crudity, its mineral bonds are dissolved, and the same, together with the root moisture, is converted into a medicine, for the soul of the same and its spirit is imparted to the boil, which increases and ennobles a high medicine.
Paragraph 46: Johannes de Rupescissa, as stated above, says that the whole secret of all sciences consists in the salt, namely in the salt of nature, and also in knowing how to dissolve it and how to make profit from it, so that whoever knows and understands this That the same know enough is he who knows and understands to serve and calculate such as well as through decomposition and combustion to turn it into its primam materiam as into a vapour and steam that the same is raised because through decomposition under combustion all things must be brought to perfection and perfection it now happens through nature or art.
Example: by putrefaction or mitre, the spirit of wine, like it and all distilled waters and drinks, is generated from their matter or juices and brought to life. For as long as they do not ferment, they have no spirit, although it is in them, yet it is of no power or effect, but the fermentation awakens the spirit as in the seed of germination, which then gradually strengthens itself until its power is completely turned out and all feces have partly foamed over themselves and partly fallen to the ground, but through the burning or bones the rough and lateral is perfected and made completely fit for use, as can be seen in the cooking of food, drinks and distillation of spirits as the cook conveys them from the thinness in which they lay dissolved and brought into the pure.
But the helps as the impure remains behind and falls to bore so that without the putrefaction and burning that is solution and coagulation its separation of the pure from the impure happens nor can the water of life be prepared in the middle of it nor the fixed one Our impenetrable gold, the true metal gold is able to form when the high aurum potabile, the universal medicine is to be prepared, which must be done, as Albert Magnus teaches, that the essence and power essence is drawn out by the very sharpest vinegar, which is a pure bright water.
Rogerin's Bacco says in the tract of vitriol: you have a well-prepared spirit vini and on the other hand a very beautiful lament of common well water which is well distilled some now take in the name of the Holy Trinity your imaginary vitriol: put it in a flask according to the size of your matter, pour the spirit vini over it, let it stand well clogged for four or five days on mild heat then pour it off leisurely and slowly so that no feces go with it, put it all aside in a safe place.
Then pour a fresh spirit of wine on the faeces that have remained and place it again in the warmth of lime for four or five days so that more of the vitriol may sort itself into the spirit of wine and pour it off until you have drawn off the subtle matter of the vitriol with the spirit of wine, then the earth is of no more use do away with it as then take all your spirit vini which you have drawn from the earth of the vitriol was called together into a flask distil the spirit of it in Balneo Mariae until you find your matter and the bottom of the glass dry then take off the helmet and the template and pour the spirit vini back onto it which is solvated, set aside, pour on the feces again spirit vini until everything is solvated, do this for the third time so it has enough and is well purified when you have now removed the spirit again and the matter is dry so take off the proposal together with the helmet again and pour on the matter of your well-prepared vitriol a common water distilled shakes and will probably put it in warm ashes 4 - 5 days that it is well solvated then pour off the solvated water its made, without feces.
The tercetrite again with distilled water and put it 4 - 5 days to serve this work do to three times that you are sure that nothing good is left in the fecibus.
When all this is done so distil the water dry again from the matter with lime fire in the balneo Mariae, then take the matter put it in a well-fogged flask helmet and present it well so that nothing smells out then start to distil in the furnace distillation in the name of God, be slow with very little fire and stronger and stronger from degree to degree so then will rise as then the blessed blood of the green lion red like a ruby on which long ago all philosophers have hoped that shines in the dark night but takes it well kept with great diligence, but takes it well preserved with great diligence and closes the glass properly so that the sweet odour does not smell praise be to God in eternity that you have entrusted us poor people with such a great treasure revealed from your inscrutable love in this world this oil is its greatest virtue share the gains the medicine of all diseases human body because its power is above the element and one drop is enough to take away all the pain of the diseases human body which would also like to be the same, therefore perceives its good because its virtue is surpassing and God has poured a heavenly effect into these souls.
But notice this very well in the distillation of the blessed oil, that before it rises, a few drops of a pungent unpalatable water come, but after this, mercurial snow-white smoke wildly and furiously seeks to penetrate all places, therefore the joints must be bequeathed with good lutum in the very best way, so that it does not escape, because it is most necessary for you in this work.
But when he sees that he cannot escape, he lies down at the bottom and reserves himself in a milkwhite thick moisture called quicksilver, but if he himself does not rise any further, the fire is increased by 1° until the said high red blood of the green lion as the blood of life, the true!
Aurum potabile, which is called the airy gold the stinking menstruum the gold of the philosophers our tincture the burning water which in this life is the last consolation with this distillation and continue from the first appearance of the white out until 12 hours have passed around it then stop.
Just as the salt is hidden in all things and cannot be seen because the same as the power being in its bodies disintegrates and is seen in its thinness like the saw masculine in the seed vessels, so is the balsamic power being dissolved in the salt and is not seen.
That they are neither to be seen nor felt but must be drawn out like the salt or seed maskuli from its vessels and poris that is from its deliquescence which essential power being causes the salt its majestic beauty form image shape colour and reflection as which presents the high creator beauty majestic wisdom omnipotence love and goodness it is therefore the salt of the main illegible and the centre of which reigns all wisdom, glory and bliss it is the one through which the Lord God blesses the land and provides the people with its food and nourishment and has also provided the highest medicine for their health.
Of the reasons why man believes that salt is tolerable for him to use one reads in the histories that the ancient queen of the Romans forbade her subjects to use it to flavour their food for reasons that the same nature of men makes them hot and horny that they fall into all hand fornication and way of life against one reads the amount of news from the cold north and ice countries Page 96 from the American landscapes that many peoples are habitually found who know nothing of salt and consequently use none, and who grow no less healthy, strong and old than those who use salt daily in all their food Its such a bad thing as one would like to think is more of a mouthful than a bad thing that we have brought from antiquity as a habit we have learnt and cherished, and to make food tasty with it more than to promote our health with it, as for example the savages who never used salt but later learnt to use salt from the Christians did not live long, that people who have used salt from their youth, but afterwards weaned themselves from it, have also been afflicted with all kinds of diseases and have half died, it is certain that salt in its quality would not be so tolerable to our health if we had not accustomed our nature to it from our youth, as one has all handball that children have eaten much and often flying spiders poisonous sponges which have done no harm when passed people from , so many things are if one is accustomed from youth that they are not only harmless but a nourishing food where do they come from if affirmed people would enjoy such most probably should fall him in should be most harmful so the salt is in its quality and therefore tolerable because we are accustomed to it from our youth the first reason that we use salt is as said the innate and acquired habit secondly that we are of a special nature than all other creatures our flesh and blood is because of our tenderness very fat of a special sweetness and odour of a strong heat and therefore subject to a strong flush and sheep thinning whereby it spoils itself and falls into putrefaction, as it becomes illegibly phlegmatic and choleric and all hands are weighed down as a result of being tenderly cared for by the Youth Welfare Office warm food and spicy drinks our clothes must be thick and warm so that we do not freeze, this inhibits the thinning out our beds must also protect us from the frost but likewise the expansion is prevented our rooms must be very warm and even the smallest openings must be closed so that no air can get in no air can get in through which communion we draw in the stale air in the room which is thick and filled with evil moisture from the stove and our expansion whereby both our spirit and mind become quite melancholy, confused and choleric that we may not tolerate this in the long run therefore thirdly the salt used is very necessary and bearable so that it strengthens our blood and drives it into a more movement
The A because the salt is endowed with previous spirits which vivify the blood and are preserved in the liquid B a heavenly sulphur in the salt, which is very sour and fatty in its exterior but sweet and savoury in its interior C imparts its acidity but sets the blood in motion through the sweetness but tinges it and makes it durable. all these qualities are opposed to human weaknesses so that the blood does not fall into the fall Job said: Man curdled like milk is composed of a matter that is fat, greasy, gelatinous, which has a viscous moisture consisting of phlegmatic and choleric parts, that is, sulphur with little salt and mercurial moisture, just as the flesh is derived from the blood and the blood from the food juices, because after the food has been purified, fired and distorted in the stomach, the chyle makes a separation and leads the food juices to the liver, but the large faeces out through the bowel movement or large chimney of nature.During this digestion and healing, the dissolution of the salt also takes place, as the sulphuric parts of the salt are swept out with the food juices to the liver, but the coarse parts are swept out with the coarse burnt sulphuric faeces.
The second separation takes place in the liver, as the haematopoietic parts are secreted to the heart.
The phlegmatic but as the coarse parts not capable of becoming blood, i.e. water and mud, pass through the channel of the bladders, the salt as soon as it comes to the liver and the blood with the food juices, its subtle part is made quite airy and volatile as it then feeds and ferments the blood with its acidity, which is an acid spirit of fire and sets the blood in motion, just as the blood is a strong skill and difficulty a red liquid matter mixed with watery moisture that makes the thin liquid.
It is a sulphuric and sulphuric fatness. it is the human and creaturely sulphur that throws nature it is a fire of nature that warms us and cooks the food in the stomach it is the life the soul and the strength of man it is the essence of the food juices like the fat of the earths, the sulphur, the marrow and lard of the earths or like the resin and the most oily the sulphur of the vegetables, so the blood is the sulphur of the animalia, then all fatness is a sulphur and sulphur is a fire, power green and growth it is the noblest in nature it is the ice and the dwelling of souls it is the seat and dwelling of the lakes of spirit and life and to set the blood in motion and keep it in circulation therefore when the blood becomes stagnant or flows out it pursues death.
The above has been said with several then and the blood thus subjected to corruption the divine providence of salt has opposed the same so that when man and be salted with salt and fire thus with the sulphur and mercury of salt it is protected from such heredity and made permanent then the salt makes permanent and maintains full volume to which however the climate of a country and sky line causes much that man is more or less exposed to diseases therefore also the salt of men is more or less bearable nevertheless to maintain life in prosperity without salt does not become impossible Since Christ says if the salt is stupid and with want to season you it is but not alone the cooking salt with it much salting become and it is also the nature salt the heavenly saliter in the air prevails and the air of it is salted it that will stand our breathing in us and the salt of the same and salting must also the salt of it all our food must be grown and salted and preserved in the prosperity which we do not want to describe without particularly thinking thus broadly.
In the salt is also to be said a highly colouring Mercurius, which is hidden in its few, which tinges the blood, makes it red and sets it in liquid but which also reunites with its components into the intimate and solid but also dissolves them so that they are distant and durable.
Also not only a colouring Mercurius but also a high-grade Sulphur, like the finest gold and which shines there like the Garfunkel as the hermit Count de Trautmannsdorf said: which before its complete preparation is fiery, poisonous unhealthy but afterwards through the preparation sweet, of a sweet odour, and the highest medicine; what a blush he has received from the sun, as above said, as also his odour is that of all the spices and balms of Hermon.
The salt-colouring Mercurius and Sulphur, when sharpened with their own salt and repeatedly poured on and drawn off again, make the gold very bloody, which is all black, reddish and finally thick and fat, but finally turns white.
Like a sponge, when from this black gold made thick and fat by a spiritum salis mixed with spiritum vitrioli, its redness is drawn out and made into a balsamic juice of great power indistinguishable from the true auro potabile.
We have above reported how, according to general doctrine, it is held that the salt of the metals and minerals of the wise is stone from causes that the wise say: bring salt from the metal in white and red if you want to have bread, secondly: the same being his equal witness, thirdly: that Paracelsus says: metals must be made from, with and through the metals, fourthly, that reason knows that no metal may be made apart from the metals.
To all of which it is not to be contradicted that the choice is sufficiently known that in Mars and Venus as man and woman the tinctura solic is found to be very powerful and indeed stronger than in the metal gold even if their master body is pure tincture, a colour to be highly dyed, both on white and red so that Sol and Luna are clothed to dye their other companions and to communicate their bloom.
For although Mars and Venus are endowed with superfluous tincture, it serves no purpose; Sol has then devoured them and overcome them with the blood of his fixed body and made them like him, then a marvellous triumph can be achieved with him the forest through the fat blood of Marti and Veneris the Solis body is highly coloured and made rich in blood and the LEO has saturated himself with the blood of Marti and Veneris so that he has become citrine red, then Luna can step forth in her white dress and complement herself with the red blood of the lion, delight herself and be married to Sol. as those who understand us well know.
The said metallic tincture is according to say whether said reasons not only in the metals Marte and Venere, but also in other things as minerals is again found in a high-grade mineral, over which Mars and Venus have supremacy, which is a Minera naturae Minera saturni a highly red face, a salt chaos or stone-like being.
All before the general essential a sour is also found that a sour of nature is the sour that animates all things and is their life and soul. That a dissolving and dissolved sulphur is found therein the true red lion's blood and the blood of the green lion.
In it is to be found the metallic quintessence the highest balm of life the great Aurum Potabile the highest medicine of man and metal after which so many nostrils run and hunt, yet which cannot be obtained in that on the one hand they are not well disposed to it and on the other hand they seek the medicine very wrongly because this metallic quintessence is the highest balm of life. minera , minera faturni unknown , but Bafilius Valentinus in the preface to the twelve keys clearly speaks of whom there to look up popular.
But this minera metallica is not to be taken as crude as it comes from the mountains. is broken, but it must be purified from the mountain and all mountain species, then then by often serving extract fills and calculate completely purified so that the same may be suitable for distant treatment and its essence or power being brought out of it the choice of the same like a clear water as an eye Tears must be before the wise say that their matter is a water and the water is a salt this water is sour and bitter that is never no one may enjoy everything will also find and attain the same for anyone who knows and knows what the same is it is quite easy and without but cost to reach it.
For it is truly a stone as the author of the water stone testifies it is a minera, and becomes a water from it says Gloria Mundi, and from the water again becomes a stone and a medicine, and therein consists the whole mystery.
We come again to the thread from which we have departed, namely salt, of which Basil Valentinus said: Salt from ashes is able to do much, and many virtues are hidden in it, NB. NB . but the salt is of no use, it is then NB. NB. his inner being has been brought out, and the same has been reversed, for it is the NB NB . spirit alone that gives strength and also life, the mere body can do nothing here if you know how to find it, then you have the salt of the white masters and a NB NB.
The unchangeable oil truly author blood of nature Page 20: It is clear and evident that under the moon only one single subject is found in which the powers of the upper lower dwell at once and at once concentrated together.
From which things are made illegible by chemistry. The same subject, however, is a salt, but not a kitchen salt or another of its kind, but saturnine, which has its seat in its sphere and is called the heart of Saturn, from which heart, when it is clean and shining and purified of all impurities, a marvellous liqueur is drawn with little effort, thus bearing the name Mercure.
But you should be careful in choosing this salt, for it is only some of those wise natural salt of an earthly metallic and satanic nature from which salt is dried therefore not the mere salt but its intimate power being its essence that is its spirit its soul Which is hidden in its interior and which is an oil that the unchangeable of which we have hitherto dealt and our some charge has been to show what the salt is in how many ways it specifies what properties and actions it has therefore it is not necessary to speak further of it because if what is said is not comprehended then even to say a sea will be in vain Weather who has not enough of it, may investigate it in nature himself, as we have done, but this we say to a decision that salt is such a creature whose virtue and property is powerful of its tongues is not powerful of any tongues is sufficient according to necessity to speak in honour of God and the prosperity of the world to write above what its beauty and its usefulness is.
Rasius said: that under the caves of the moon there is no thing so noble as salt, that the same is of no use, it is then reversed and its inner nature brought out Blood nature says that the whole science of the same exists as its fixed part may be made fleeting and the fleeting part fixed since now no thing in the world disputes or equals salt in beauty in nobility and usefulness but must take precedence as the noblest and most glorious of things as the highest and greatest good of God in external nature, we should thank God without ceasing all the days of our lives from the bottom of our hearts and praise and honour him that he in his eternal love and grace and thus has regarded.
So we have been considered such a great treasure for our health, health and prosperity.
This is the stone rejected by the builders and turned into a cornerstone Psalm 1 18 .
The stone of stumbling and the rock of offence laid in Sion a foundation stone a tried stone a deadly cornerstone well founded Esa. 8. the law is for a fall and a rising in Israel, and for a sign that will be contradicted Luke 2 . but whoever believes in him will not be put to shame Romans 9 . but whoever falls from this stone will be crushed on which it falls will be crushed. Daniel 2 . and if there is salvation in no one else, then no other foundation can be laid besides that which has already been laid Corinthians 3 . from this cornerstone on this rock is built the church or congregation of Christ, which the gates of hell cannot prevail against, so that even if an angel should come from heaven and preach another gospel to you Then to proclaim it as you do would be cursed.
Then from this spiritual rock all the patriarchs and ancient fathers ate one kind of food and drank one kind of spiritual drink.
Fictuld in his Turba says : Although this said stone is very low and bad to look at, that it is despised and laughed at by every man, especially by the highly learned and supposed wise men of this world, it is nevertheless the only chosen and chosen stone, the foundation stone, the cornerstone, the worthy stone, the deadly stone, the stone with seven eyes, on which the whole building of the wise masters of these and all times has been built and fortified.
Without this foundation and cornerstone there is no other rock foundation and cornerstone in the whole kingdom of nature.
Neither is there salvation in any other, nor power in any other, nor the great universal and world spirit in any other than in this one, so that even if this stone is of very little reputation, of poor value and lowly origin, it was also rejected and mocked by the builders of Babel for this reason, it is only because of their pride, stubbornness and unbelief that they are unaware of it and have set it up as a great stumbling block and cause it to fall, so that they will not believe and be helped; it is truly the stumbling block of the stone, our rock of offence, so that all those who are blind to the true light will take offence at it, flatten it and mock it, stumble and fall on it, crush it and receive a sign of the wickedness of their hearts, and finally it will fall and be painted over them This stone with its seven eyes is a lamp with seven shining lights to the true children of wisdom who look to God and are called; it is the right and true rock, the rock of solid ground on which the patriarchs, the ancient fathers, the prophets and true sages have laid and built their foundation as wise builders, as on a rock and ground immovable to which the gates of hell with all their mighty evil swarm, helpers and abettors are not able to shake far less to overthrow.
It is the rock of which we all say all wise that is owner of the great universal one kind of food eaten and no spiritual drink drunk then take it lies the right angel bread angel food heavenly man the sweet oil of joy the water of life the honey and honey be the milk of wisdom from the breasts of the beautiful virgin Sofia
The rose colour bleeds of the king of the nature of the fine realm members too well his blood given there and the true quintessence the great tincture of life buried it is in it the fountain spring and source of life the aqua vita the water of health the water of the blessed bath of the king the heavenly Azoth the deadly gods drank together with everything that is necessary for this high work lies and is to be found in it.
Eugenie Philatea said: I know a salt more deadly than gold.
Basil Valentinus said: without salt nothing can be done nor art made lively then in salt is all art and science.
Holland number 32: Here I will make known to you all the secrecy of salt, which is the most secret of all the arts of alchemy that one finds, in which most of the errors of all people deal with the art in this way.
Paracelsus says in the salt is the health of man since the same has an infinite good and benefit of God again it is said that it is a son of the sun and the moon that it is the firstborn of the first created that it is the light mind the light of wisdom the light manifest the light of light that is since English Limbo the English forecourt and as the salt says of itself that it is made by God of the world to the eye heart and centre to the Lord Prince and King.
This is silk, a simple, open point of inner light, through which the true light and splendour shines everywhere; it does not shine from itself, but the holy light image shines forth from it; the benevolent light of the inner heaven brings forth everything in it; it enlivens and delights the face of all things by its reflection; that in it is the most holy secrecy and hidden wisdom of the Alps; that in it is the power of all powers and the virtue of all virtues.
This salt says the great Rosarius is the universal and master key of nature which unlocks and locks no one and which locks and opens no one Heinrich Khunrad: This is the common salt that you find in mountains, valleys, sea and waters, which is found in the earth and all things without which man cannot live nor all things in the natural kingdom exist.Because it makes and maintains all natural things natural, this author says that salt is a balsamus naurae, a natural balm, which God has implanted in all natural things. We should now remember a little about the spirit of salt and thereby introduce the practice, firstly of natural or sea salt as the actual cooking salt, of which the spiritual blessed Johannes Arnd says that in it, namely in sea salt, is the semina salium, the seed of salt that the water of the sea under the celestial belt of the sun's lines is made thick and transformed into salt by the fiery rays of the sun, because the sun's old rays, which come down very fiery waving the sea boiling, as it were, the salt reaches a greater perfection and powerful activity than all other salts are with a salt from these solar lines when it is made into crystals is very much different from that of the sea water of the evening around midnight regions, hence one has the more salt for the natural salt or common salt because it is putrified and boiled by the heat of the sun.
So also its spirit is far more powerful than all other spirits salis also the crystals larger and with several reflection colours of these causes that is loved several times in advance in all mechanical arts.
Of the salt of metals and minerals we have dealt and been above extensively that is a very noble little and be the metal and mineral a very glorious plant and precious fruit of the mountains be the imparting of the same as with like things the transmutation must be done which because all like things hold together and unite then against two repugnant sights can never be tolerated and joined together contrary to proverb like loves like begets like and honours like to obtain the metal and mineral salts is very difficult and requires great skill and science, especially as the dissolution of the same is a very subtle work to prepare the salt of the same.
In order to obtain it per se because it must be prepared with mineral salt spirits that can no longer be separated from the metal and mineral salts but multiply against them Page 115 It is known to every cabbage boy and coal spoiler to destroy the metals and minerals and turn them into nothing, but to extract its essence and power beings is expensive and the hook is difficult to loosen, because the noble salt from its clamp band With sharp corrosive and striking waters that are poisonous and damned cannot be drawn out and even if it should happen it cannot serve here because the salt is the highest medicine which should be a high medicine a heart strengthening medicine with poison or poisonous waters can be prepared because they would be healing would not such a sick person soon extinguish the still small life small instead of a life juice to strengthen the same with poison, but this medicine of the salt of metals must be prepared with a juice and mineral power being that is itself already a high medicine that there is an aqua vita an aqua permamens, a life-strengthening water, therefore not spiritus virtriol Aqua Fort. liqueur of Auripigmento, which are poisonous and deadly and which in the solution combine and incorporate with the metals minerals, because salt with salt easily combine and constitute the greater weight of the same.
The secret and natural The path happened quite differently, it happened withsaid menstruo, as a fire juice that has the power and strength from God that had and naturally reinforced body, and radical, and to return to their origins to reduce the material so that it is airy and is made volatile.
Wherever the metal or Firstly, the mineral must be made pure, secondly tens with this Aqua vitæ , Aqua permanente or Spiritu animato for a long time several hours a day, as Hollandus teaches, rubbed so that the corpus is made quite clean and his power- essence will merge with the menstruo well combined, and thirdly, cooked while by grinding, cooking, roasting and frying a strong degree from the flames of the fire received , as his pori open , and fine vest, the parts hanging together detach; the find the same, as is said of a snake, that when they are already divided into many pieces the morning of the next day hang together as if they had never been finished would have been.
Then by rubbing with Aqua vitæ makes the body fine, and by roasting or frying in a smoke Peel the burnt parts, said Hollandus , and whose pori opened , as with the mercurial parts of the aqua vitæ the better to penetrate it.
So when to proceed according to necessity, and a daily portion of the said foliage is added, and over the same from , it ? will grow all the time , bigger and become stronger, also increase in weight;
But then, and fourthly, the matter in a retort , connected to a recipient preserved, and driven with fire- degree, equal to how to continue burning aqua, that's how talls or minerals Mercurius vivus and Sulphur over , with great astonishment as a milky white smoke and vapour, finally but red as blood; which in time from eight to twelve days than at which time in such distillation through the fire the partes heterogeneæ of the matter from each other and the homogeneousæ, on the other hand, together than that of the matter of true Mercurius and Sulphur; and the salt of the wise Master, the noble Quintessence in the reason the retorts remain behind, that there bright, cry like a crystal or diamond.
This through the aqua vitæ or aquam animatam animated corpus metallorum or Mineral is a great arcanum, especially not only the salt of the same, but also the sulphur folis is very powerful in the same that he the white Luna with his royal dress? and can decorate that they are in a highly coloured citrine - red robe like the Sons to emerge with a new splendour.
Then this Sulphur solis is the true fifth essence of the the whole realm of nature, therefore it is the body of the Golds not only exaltate , but also dissolve and turn it into an unburnable oil. But it's this tingirant Sulphur has not yet reached the highest degree of friability.
Ianget that he all examina of the fire best Mars can do this with his steadfastness has not yet given him his consent, this is why Cholchodar, as the Bride, therefore it is to be done in this science, from which retorts, and with the Mercurio vivo and sulphure solis amalgamated and imbibed in a viola or smoke Bowls covered with paper or linen cloth and well sealed so that nothing vapours out or some air into it ; so will be conveyed by means of the imbibition of the ashes in a very lukewarm warmth to regain the lost soul, and the blackness that they create through putrefation accepted , washed off and white honoured be made.
Then man and woman were unite through this marriage, and through their union the great Diana to the world, the beauty of which in its white atlas robe and a crown like the half-moon is not enough to admire. But even if the fire continues, since fire is fed and cooked with fire, shaping Page 119 the magnificent Diana , and becomes sanguine that is, male characteristic that at instead of Diana, the mighty Appollo prá sentirt and emerges.
The metal salts are followed by the mineral salts , as which the metals proxima and next of kin, in that they are of great secrets are hidden, especially in the vitriol and Salniter ; how then much of it in the wisdom is read in the writings.
Basilius Valentinus said from Vitriol , that he is the third sow in the art of healing, and Rogerius Baccon that the most high and greatest God has the vitriol far above other mineral creatures and creatures raised. Therefore he was called vitriol by ancient sages, Victoriel &c .
Therefore we want to from this mineral and to work . But we implore you by the all mighty God to all for whom this our song is come home, that you reveal it to no one, you Know then that he is a son of wisdom, said Holandus , Lullius , Ripleus,Count Digby , an angel, writes about it a book about what effect he had in the external nature, as well as in the healing art as well as in the sympathy that, as it were unbelievable and by many supposed scholars is mistaken for magic.
But those with ice is endowed with a higher light, he will be with us discover even greater secrecy in it, especially when you instead of like Count Digby. Of the common vitriol in fine rawness a Hungarian , martial and vis Venereal Vitriol needed , this one from all fine mountains species are purified, dissolved and coagulated, and then knows to turn back that his inner self is out, and the outside has come in , he will see with extreme dismay things that are not proper to report into the open; this because from it a spirit , oil and salt can be prepared, since each of them is in its own is an healingart of great wealth.
That's why many believe that the philosopher's stone could be made from it. After their opinion but to be sure, they have a vitriol made of iron and copper, since this seems more plausible that the vitriol on the Mountain huts made of greater strength, because it is made by fire, whereas the metal one is made with salt types of hot water is mixed.
The Salnite has its greatest descent from the urine of cattle and horses, and although he is an earthly being that he comes from the earth is dug, it is nevertheless an animalistic Being that only coagulates in the earth, in places where the urine flows from the animals , or even where huts are built, the salpeter to plant, the soil with urine always best moulded a large amount of saltpetre is produced, there is a lot of great secrecy in it, like this teaches the shooting powder, especially in the art of pharamceutics when there is a strong fever.
Also when a poison per se is prepared from it , the same great strength in scorbutic diseases has. Also when it is mixed with the vitriol is a strong water, and when salmiac or another sour salt in it becomes dissolved, a king's water is made. But this is strange, when the vitriol per se and the saltpetre is distilled per se , and then opened together, there is no aqua still something of its property.
The Sal Tartari or the stone of wine itself, whether he would like to try a vegetable salt and plant, it still has a mineral essence that is of great power as well as in melting the mountain plants as well as in the heating art . thus we see what was said above. says that although the salts can be absorbed into some species , yet the same in principle one and the same , although some forces from the coincidences, such as has been said with this.
Of the man to remember, as from whose flesh and blood can make a salt which is of great usefulness, as well as to medicine than to other matters, since it like gold in fixing, and gold nothing before , how to see when the same Weight of gold and fir salt on the capell the same way) and see that they are indistinguishable from each other until the fire is over , and both become standing. When a salt is made from solid parts and the same with Mercurio vivo and Sulphure incombustibili is mixed and according to the art cooked, they give the most marvellous medicine for the health of the human being, which may not be more noble be found.
Therefore, it is said that in ་the wine , in the gold and in the man is the highest medicine, and that the Lord God have made man his own doctor made , and the highest medicine placed in it have.
In the prelude we want to make a small remark , which of worthiness , the same think about when you could have three salia , as vitriol , saltpetre and sal armoniac for three essential principles of nature , the Sal armoniac for the Mercurium , the vitriol for sulphur, and salniter for the salt , (or that we give ) the Sal armoniac for the animalistic , the vitriol for the vegetable, and the salniter recognised for the mineral kingdom, and according to their rank and weight Firstly, the animalistic and vegetablistic , and then these two together with the mineral, that the letter could be made heavenly The , there is a work of great weight and Worthiness , of which there is no time here furthermore to talk.
But when vitriol and sal armoniacum mixed with each other, as one part of the first and of the second three parts, and they with one which are distilled according to the handles, they give a marvellous menstruum that could not be higher, may be found to dissolve the gold and to make it airy so that it can be used as an oil over the Helmet to be worn .
However, when, as stated above vitriol and saltpetre combined and by the power of fire a spirit When they are sprouted, they give a very strong water, Then they combine through distillation, and change their properties through the fire, because one spirit wants to overpower the other and cannot exercise his power, so they unite and become a third , what through then get the power to unlock all metal and mineral, and extract their power and to unite with them that the same into the highest perfection, The only thing missing here is the handle that one to understand them properly. But those if you want to know more about this, take a look at the Antoine le Grand Curiose Exploration.
Who but intend to improve metal, do it, said Author de Larvation , out of two waters one, he adds together aqua fort and aqua Regis , the dissolved body to the spirit, and the spirit to the corpus , so when both Water and corpus joined together, says Author Wasserstein , so they work together to the highest perfection, and whoever a thing of great value, that is, a Tinctur and Particular - stone called Rebis.
Then the vitriol is the main key to the realm of mineral bodies, the same to open up. He has the power and the Salmiac opens the door , to see yourself vest in it , and the Salnita closes the door so that the former cannot evade assets. When to add the Oleum Vitrioli to a liquorem Tartari, it's moulded , as they do not want to get together therefore they give the wine a new flavour caused by irritation, but are also a marvellous menstruum in the mineral kingdom.
Basilius Valentinus said : The Vitriol has two spirits, one white and one red . The white spirit is the white sulphur on white, and the red spirit is the red sulphur on red. The white spirit is sour and makes pleasant to eat and good digestion. The red spirit is even more acidic, even on the fermentation heavier, so a longer height must be used for fine distillation .
Basilius wants to say : with the white spirit as the white Sulphur we tingiren Luna in white, and with the red spirit as the red sulphur the Sulphur Solis we colour it in red, than our two essential tinctures, with which the metal is coloured , and brought to its perfection.
These are the twofold fiery man , the one with the white swan. It is fed by fire and water, with the blood of the green dragon is made windy.
It is the fiery juice or the dove with which Jason spends the fires has overcome the dragon to Colchis ; then these tinctures are pure fire, so when they locked up in containers, and only with are heated over a low fire, they heat the vessels smashed into a thousand pieces, like Rogerius Baco said. Date the spirit full of fire, said author blood of nature, can strong fire not tolerated, but when the same is too weak is, the smoke in the centre of the earth can be do not get moving, hence the fire it must therefore be ordered that the spiritual humidity the earth dissolved , and the earthen is impregnated by the fugitive, whereby the humidity thickens, as a sign of this the black colour is , and the hope gives of a happy ending, then the more it thickens, the more it is blackened, all sorts of colours then take place and finally the white one in the degree of perfection appears.
The earth must be quite white, and in ice a vessel with highly rectified soft sulphur be fed and watered until the fiery humiditat of the Mercurii with this white Swan has united and incorporated , therein has been run and vest. with the white fiery Sulphachinahl furthermore and from eight to eight Days sealed and circulate leave that phlegm then through the distillation deducted or evaporate and so long repeated until itself the Corpus in a Powder, Fire and Sky transported has.
The seel. Doctor Pordetsch said : Tinctur Solis is a Carmoisin scarlet colour , a deep Garnet - Roth , the highly lustrous brunirs gold , the clear splendour of the suns , the Rose colours blood equal , and is stable in colour and texture, so that it is a majestic splendour is.
But so that we can come closer to our conclusion let us assume that in the nature are two incessant beings or being , namely a spiritual or heavenly and an essential or earthly one. The spiritual or celestial being is the acting one , an invisible fire or fire spirit that is revealed by its power and dignity alone.
The earthly or essential one, is the quiet and although it is essential, we cannot but do not see the same until it comes out of its is drawn out of concealment, then it is located in the poris of the main din and is, according to the actual term, the essential being, namely the salt that is due to the retention and incineration draws together from its concealment, visible becomes tangible and real.
These two essential Substances are the everlasting and unceasing and continuing being, and although this same in the essence as in matter and dignity different from each other, they both have their own descent from the spirit of the great world, which from God in the beginning to the foundation of the world has been eaten, and the choking nature is. Both the dry and the moist, the fire and the ephemeral, the suffering are the children of the said great world spirit , and must command the world in all circles of the kingdom of nature , and bring all things of the world, whatever their name may be, are always.
Then they are in themselves, and witnesses from itself according to the nature of the climate and the location of the place all dine Then they themselves find the seed of all things. Then the spiritual being, as the life , would drives and moves all things, and drives them through fine spicing power into life and movement.
The earthly being , as the suffering one ,the body ; gives the matter or shape which in all creatures - Gifts through the rotting and burning consumed and to nothing, that is, are dissolved into ashes, these two substances are neither consumed nor destroyed, but they, as two incorruptible beings, return to the origin , of which there is much to say and all things that is.
These two beings thus form firstly the body, and secondly, life. They are the two drive units and drive springs, thereby through everything in a perpetual motion and incessant weaving. You are the seed of all things, and the choking in the seeds that they produce a fruit, and to the bring perfection, and when the world is perfect, and the topmost staple is has chet , nevertheless hears them in their dignity not on, but the same way as they produce such fruit brought to perfection, it brings the same back into their nonmateriality, into their first chaos and mother of origin back, to a new becoming; as described above in more has been thought.
That nature never may stand still, but work without ceasing, either a fruit emerges from the seed the fruit into a new seed, or the fruit to travel.
Here we see how the two creatures form a the third is how they are transformed into a fruit, walk like the heavenly through the earthly, and the earthly through the heavenly becomes heavenly. Into this mirror we must see, and imitate nature , as the all generated in this way, and in an essential being , so that we may also bring forth the heavenly earthly , and the earthliness of heavenly fish, because there is nothing on it and nothing can happen.
On this salt may have seen the Author of the Book of Creation , when he said : God made man from a red earth , from dust of the earth from the salt of the earth, from the fifth essence of the earth , as an extraction of the Christus , the great world , or how the sals of the earth.
Says to his you send what is certain is that the Man does not come from a common earth, little from an uncut clayey earth, or ferruginous marl, but rather from a matter , substance and virtue being that is liable to all the forces of the world, thus following and in itself, which is probably not in any other thing, and not is found than in the Sals alone, because as the noblest good of the nature, and the most marvellous being, that God has made, as has been sufficiently of which has been traded.
Crottes in Raymundus Lullius asks of man so : You can't be above the human being enough to be surprised, nor to be quite so with what gifts and great favours which the most high God has so richly for which we are not the only ones to thank you love, honour and praise from the heart, but should rise above everything!
Then so I immediately not did not want to remember how the almighty God in the beginning of his works everything was made of nothing and how everything has come from nothing how we have come forward with the precious blood Jesus Christ redeemed from the wrath of the Father, out of pure love and mercy, out of favour and grace, only that he has brought us out of a so noble matter and made in his image has. Since he was created, placed and given in us has planted what the whole world possesses, therefore called the small world. It also has the highest God has given us the knowledge, through which we can understand and comprehend, who God is, and what man is, and what for the forces of the vegetable, animal and laid for us minerals it contains in the earth's.
Man not from one earth or red clay but made from salt of the earth, from a quint essence of the earths , then he otherwise not the Lord and king of the world and may they become the stars of God !
How then not without any particular great cause and thought-provoking David the king asked in the 8th centuries.
Psalm before great astonishment : What is the Man? The echo of the furry patriarch replies: I am Dust and Ashes, this is , an extraction , a salt of the earth, Matth. 55,/1133. Luc. 14. The Kingdom of God is within inside you.
Then in Christo lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge of God , of which the blessed apostle 2 Cor. 6. sas get : We carry this treasure in earthen vessels The feel. Ezekiel in the 37th said with fonder note : Human child , do you also realize that these bones become alive Behold I will breathe into they bring the same, that you shall live again den.
I will give you veins, and with allow the meat to coat. Item. I want in sprinkle water over you that you may be clean from all your uncleanness. I want you give a new heart, and a new spirit, and will take away the stony heart from your body men Basilius Valentinus said : Summa , it human reason nor the physician is not able to nough to grasp and comprehend, much less to then , spin off and unlearn , which for physicians then. Healing all then inside him Affliction . It can be made into a sweet-smelling. the spirit without lovely odour which is not less, then the Aurum potabile.
Johann Siebmacher, from Nuremberg , in his Wasserstein or Aureo vellere said: Take the above prá parried water matter twelve parts from the the same mate again three parts, the two parts diligently keep and preserve it for the the remaining part you must then only again one another metallic matter (which then also the most beautiful thing created by God and gifted gold corpus , that of the prima materia is most closely related and pleasant ) a part against twelve parts, to which the first fermentation and icing with it some must , so that afterwards such reported Water Matter to a corporeal being will be. When such two : water and matter or gold unequal parts , so since according to the external appearance of great dissimilarity) then the one as the beautifully prepared weaponised matter entirely of a spiritual.
But this as the gold corpus of an earthly essence , in a dissolving dish to summen , to a dry amalgama or liquors are made, let such first of all six or seven days in a very mild wars me that it can only be felt lightly.
Furthermore, take from the previously reserved two parts of water matter one part, such a thing into a round, unbreakable glass Crockery or barrel equal to a vial, place the tempered liquor in the centre , but it takes six or seven days the gold corpus will therefore stand diffused and dissolved by the water, because it again into fine first matter , from which it initially took fine origin, reduced and brought, and thus, as it were, created anew. must be drilled, because then the conjuntion of this bender , and there one in the the other as sweet and fine as egg dissolves in water and mixed with each other. is mixed : which the philosophers in some kind interpreted.
Now when such then one takes the retained part of the The following third part is also included, but not to one time, but to six different grind.
An anonymous person asks : I tell you, God taking as witness that after the Mercurius was sublimated several times, he appeared clothed with a great whiteness, like the snow of the high mountains , under there of a very subtle crystallinity, from which as strong, sweet and good odour, after the opening of the secret vessel that its same is not found in the world.
And me, the one I am talking about knows what my eyes and appeared to me. This wonderful whites and this thin crys I have realised with my own hands that I am a stallion, and drawn by my own senses of smell and tasted this wonderful sweet, About this I dare to know of great joysness. So, as it were, startled and out of me imself was , over this marvellous sweetness Goodness.
Therefore be the highest eternal God, who is high and honourable, that he such a marvellous gift to nature that has placed in the salt, and as an infinite Hiding the secret in it, and not us to show this to a number of people, and to reveal.
But I say I am not enough, to tell these great and marvellous wonders.
Author Gloria mundi said : Praised be God from heaven who created art in the salt, then the salt is a thing that likes to fly, then what likes to fly likes to go through. Salt is the fifth being in the Nature, therefore a thing that is above all things the world, and also found in all things will be.
Now that the salt has been taken from the venerable wise men have therefore been raised to the same have such exceptional virtues and nutbarkels and, as it were, idolised the fact that it be A. a holy and sacred by God Matter, a subjectum , in which all heavenly forces itself; B. therein the secrecy of all secrecy of the wise lies hidden ; C. therein all wise science and art ; D. therein the Essence of all Essences , Balsam of all balms, juice of all juices and strength of all forces ; E. therein a Cordial and Herzstárs , cation in all diseases and fainting ; F. therein is a treasure of all wealth and riches of all the riches of human health and prosperity.
Then God, in the beginning of his works of creating the heavens and of the earth, reason and best put together in the building that is the world: of all creatures and bodies of the natural kingdom made; because the same is an incessant Being and being in the realm of nature it should be, and the same daily through the Astra should be fed and maintained.
Now that the Salt has therefore been raised that in the same such exceptional powers and virtues that partly exceed our reason, and not to understand, the same should be true for us. all the more so because it is our highest duty to and guilt, but also the divine rightness and his majesty's honour from us that we may experience his unsearchable wisdom in fine works , that is , in creation of the world , and fine kindness in the prevention of the people recognize the same great and his honour glorify and for all fine hence the high virtues and powers of the see salt as a light on a bushel, so that all those who are in the house are illuminated and see what is necessary for their salvation serves and contributes to the recognition of salt may catch; as then they should certainly hope, when they will be in the ways of the Lord walk here, because the high creator in such matter was not created for its own sake, and in planted in the realm of nature, but for the sake of man than for his prosperity will.
Therefore he also has open to man what marvellous virtues that in the same (?). Then what would the great mysteries that serve God, when they remained borrowed ? What does Christ ask of the light under a bushel or from in the field : thus also from the salt.
Then God has everything for the sake of man that it would serve its prosperity. What is certain is that such great qualities in the salt hidden, even that ever and at all times ten people who have had their recognition, and with its power - being gifted by God have been. Which serves to comfort them, who will endeavour to do the same.
The salt is from God, although in honour fine majesty, but for the sake of man made so that everything in the being, in the be to the essential being, and be in the reveal his nature tone , therefore he also people in such a position and condition, that it is a temple and dwelling place of God to be , as an image and likeness of God , on that in the same fine holiness , his majestic statute , his vessels and rights , his good and grace may be revealed, so that we as his looking for vessels and tools , to fulfill his demands, but oh ! that we be invented, which are could serve the host's purposes, and not be discarded as old torn tubes.
As we then freely implore God to not to smash us as ineffectual vessels, but worthy to promote his honour ; how we then hope to receive such grace from him plead.
Only is sorrowful and worthy of lamentation , that among so many millions of people so few be found that are a right and true replacement have knowledge of the salt, what be the same, and what virtues and power beings in that lie in the same, which nevertheless all days around and enjoy the same thing. Why can you can't think and try to understand, when the salt makes our food flavourful chet that they become pleasant and sweet from it that it is something special, and that it is worthy of to give it further thought as to why it makes the food flavourful.
When to will take the trouble to learn this first lesson to investigate, the same will be done steo by step to get higher until the beauty of this fruit for yourself. Alone how many people are there who do not make an effort, just a prayer with devotion at the bed, let alone to get something more to strive for the honour of God.
They are like the vessels that have no bottoms, everything that one pours into it , is lost , therefore also they are not respected in a worthy manner which , when they would be wise, should make them ashamed, i.e. unworthy of being invented therefore, dear human being, what from your inertia or arrogance, and to live according to the ultimate purpose of God, and your idle hours in his honour to sacrifice the talent received together with the interest to your landlord as a faithful to hand over the found servant again so that he do not command his captors to take your hands and feet to be bound and imprisoned until that. The spend money will be refunded.
Then what can we do to please God more than to research the works of fine wisdom and to glorify him over it, which to all of them as well as to us from the bottom of our hearts, time-life of these.
In the end, we have in this small and simple-minded design and instruction want to give what the salt is for a marvellous Created beings, what it means to be noble and high God's favour.
We had very well can be more expansive about it, because importance of the matter not lacking, we have endeavoured to be brief, the Court that those who understand and those who honour God, their neighbour's salvation and their own well-being on dear to our hearts , understand us very well and are also find it necessary to take the ere will be seen to be lacking; because it is always easier to improve a thing then to design it. But whether we have written a big book , would, however, be to show the ignorant such and unpleasant because we were our speeches were by no means addressed to such people, but only to those called by God, whose heart and ear are opened by God.
But we ask you, with all due respect to incline heart and ear to our teaching they will certainly fulfil the purpose of their desire. closer . To the haters, to those to whom it is not given, God's works, but to research our well-being to envy and criticize the lack of we of their wisdom , that their works may be made manifest become what spirit children they be. Then a wise son does not despise the teaching of his Fathers , nor the breeding of his mother.
But we also want to pray manly and have be warned without sufficient understanding and insight to lay a hand on the work, out of a desire to obtain this high medicine.
Although we refer everywhere to the German lightest and brightest of the salt and its ice we still have the key to the to the practice in such a way that the same may not be found every time they run, because this operation has been recognised as ness is required, which is perfect, which is in accordance with: of nature, art and reason coincide met , and to the honour of God and man prosperity.
Then there is matter, that: Salt, so small in the eyes of the world , unrecognised , contemptuous and low in the price is , also the operation is bad and one wrinkled, but the essence is of inestimable value; so the honour of God and the world requires prosperity, that we with the utmost care we endeavour to understand the being with the the term under the term of work.
As we then said that although we have completed this little work all people to the concept of salt to express gratitude to God for his goodness. So we have the hand - written only in front of those who, through their lives and have earned God's favour than in which he finely lit and illuminated the same has.
Those who can see that this knowledge tthe fact is that the economy does not depend on people, but is a gift and grace gift of God from heaven is his father, and from him alone he must be extended.
We therefore resolve to hat those who receive this high grace and gift may demand, first and foremost, God's favour through the bed must attain , since Christ said : Pray without ceasing.
Then through the bed and faith can move mountains, and the Moors, then what we ask the heavenly Father for he will give us that; as he will then give such promised in the most sacred way.
This noble and sacred truth to please God until your END.

“Geber clearly shews that the substance of our Stone cannot exist in imperfect metals; because things that are impure in themselves do not abide the fire which might purify them, while our mercury (on account of its purity) is not in the slightest degree injured by the fire.”
